I appreciate Dr. Pulido being up front with me before I paid for my 1st appt. About how much medicine I was on before, to what he'd be ok with. Which wasn't nearly the same, but I was over medicated. I still hurt, but not like I did when I had nothing. My previous doctor left me high and dry with no warning after 24 years. No step down, just a referral to the 1st of 3 pain docs. The 1st one barely spoke to me, didn't even touch me, wrote orders for injections into my spine, nothing for pain. 2nd place I didn't see the doctor, but a PA, no meds, nothing but another appt in 3 wks (the soonest available appt) so he (not the doc) could review my records. And I went through horrible withdrawal and a flare up as a direct result of it. I've got arthritis, I don't need spine injections, or physical therapy. I need meds so I can get outta bed and function! I've been on opiates so long, I don't get any buzz at all, just relief. They didn't care. Finally went to see Dr. PULIDO, even though my insurance doesn't cover his practice, and I'm paying double what my specialist copay is, he helped me. He was kind, explained the limits on the meds he was comfy with BEFORE I paid for my 1st appt. I was so grateful! Due to the opioid crisis, folks with real chronic pain have suffered needlessly because the pendulum has swung too far the other way. I've got a condition that will not improve, but I can manage with pain meds and be able to work and take care of myself. So many doctors act like it's no big deal, but pain management is suicide prevention. Emed is amazing and I highly recommend them! I've only given 4 stars because it's only been 3 appointments so far and I wish it was every 3 months, as Florida law allows for that with pain management, but its still worth it to me!

This is by far the best experience I’ve had with a pain management doctor & team. I have struggled for more than a decade with intense pain from a chronic illness & am having relief for the first time in years. Cannot recommend Dr. Pulido & his staff enough! Definitely make an appointment if you’ve been putting it off! So thankful to have found a provider that shows care and compassion.
Excellent pain treatment team, lead by the very conscientous Dr. Pulido. The appointment started on time. Every team member new their part and there was no wasted time. This is very rare in the medical field! If you have pain and can physically reach Jacksonville, give this team your business. Grace has been my counselor/ doctor on my last three visits. She is very supportive and understanding. You can't deal with everyone in the team, but attitudes are universal. The whole team exudes happiness and success!
From the moment I walked in the door Miriam and Carly were amazing with customer service and went above and beyond to make sure I received the service I needed. Then the Doctor came in and he was excellent. He listened to all my concerns and made sure he explained what my X-rays were showing and how he can help me resolve my issues.
