So im writing this to first say my therapist Crystal Hicks is an outstanding therapist who cares deeply about her clients progress and has helped me deeply through some really hard times so thank you Crystal for your help through my struggles. However, the office at this facility will show you some things are to good to be true. I ended up moving jobs in late July and wasn't told till almost the end of August that I had a balance of over 700 dollars, they just let me keep coming to appointments knowing this and told me last second, I was a little annoyed but understood they still have a business to run. So despite the poor communication I put an entire pay check from my new job down which was over 500 dollars. Afterwards I start getting email notifications that I can start coming to appointments even having new insurance, I was then told I only paid a little of the balance and couldn't continue until I had paid the rest. If that were the case they shouldn't be sending me emails like everything is OK, and since I paid more than half of the balance on a whim after bad communication I feel they should be making more of an effort on their part to work with me as far as payment plan or something. I understand you guys need your money and all that but come on im trying and you are dealing with people who have alot of trauma that needs to be worked on. I shouldn't have to be suffering for weeks on end because of poor communication. Again, my therapist is excellent and im gonna pay my balance and still work with them despite this mishap because of that. But please you guys are dealing with trauma patients!
I came to this place looking for hope and ended up having the worst experience ever. I had an appointment with Cokey Powell, who was rude and had a terrible attitude and I made her know that I was feeling that way. She made me feel stupid, and I ended up leaving mid-appointment crying out of frustration.
I can't say enough good things about my experience at EMDR Trauma Therapy in Fleming island. From the moment I walked in, I felt supported and respected. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming, which really helped ease any anxiety had. Tammy and Dorothea have been incredibly understanding, compassionate, and skilled. They created a safe, non-judgmental space where I could open up and work through challenges at my own pace. I've seen real progress in my mental health thanks to their guidance and support. If you're looking for a mental health provider and Nurse Practitioner that truly listens and cares, I highly recommend this practice. Prioritizing your mental health can be difficult, but finding the right help makes all the difference - and I'm so glad I found it here.

PLEASE READ!! This place is amazing. My therapist is Rieko Higuchi and she is AMAZING. I met with her once and already began to see a difference in my mentality. She is becoming my favorite part of each week. The facility is clean, quiet, and extremely professional and respects your privacy. Front desk is extremely knowledgeable and if they don’t know, they’ll get you to someone who does. I don’t know where I’d be without this place. So thankful I found them.
