I cannot recommend Mr. Elrod and his team enough. I came to him during one of the hardest periods of my life, fighting to be an equal father to my son while also being financially drained by the entire process. Mr. Elrod sat down, listened to my story, understood what I was fighting for, and worked with me financially by allowing me to set up a payment plan so that I could actually afford to have strong legal representation when I needed it most.From the beginning, I never felt like I was just another case or another paycheck. Do not use this firm!!! Robert Elrod screwed up my schedules, and now I am in trouble with Judge Brown. Worse, he refused to file any objections when I was subject to sanctions and refused to even defend me to the judge. Everyone is afraid of Judge Brown!!! He refused to file an appeal, and I found out after he took my $4400 that he does not do appeals and will not even file a Notice of Appeal for you!! I had to fire him but he has got my money and he all he did was cause me trouble. He is never in the office - when you call, he will not call you back - his paralegal will say he is "in trial". If you send him an email and show him the judgment against you is void - he will do nothing with it- he will not fight for you. Run, run, run from this firm and if you are smart, do not file a bankruptcy in the Middle District of Florida - move somewhere else first - every other attorney I spoke with knows the Middle District is extremely difficult to work with and noone is willing to take a case that has already been filed - so be careful if you sign up with him- and his fees are high!!!!
