We were in town for 24 hours! Ran across this hidden gem. Chris was absolutely fantastic. So attentive, knew the food. Trusted his recommendations, and it was soooooooo good. We come to Jacksonville enough, we will come back!! The service 💯 Food 💯 The bartender in the beginning, while we waited, was off, young girl. She definitely needs to be a little more attentive, and personable for 15.00 a drink 🤣 She found out we were not eating at the bar, never came back. *in pic * Another woman saved the day ♡ it was delicious. Honestly not sure what people see in this place. The staff were very friendly and professional, and that was the extent of the establishment’s redeeming qualities. The restaurant was noisy, the food was simultaneously oversalted and lacking of robust flavor, and the wine I was served was of low quality, tasting nothing like what was advertised in the menu. I ordered steak out of caution, and the meat itself was pretty flavorful and tender. My partner’s scallops were salty, overcooked, and chewy. The side of black garlic mashed potatoes and shrimp appetizer our waiter raved about were nothing more than what seemed to be powdered mashed potatoes covered in a thin gravy and shrimp drowning in watered down butter. Absolutely not worth the price or being stared at by patrons at nearby tables.

The flounder was absolutely incredible—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The filet was just as impressive, tender and cooked exactly right. What made our experience exceptional was our server, Chris. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. His recommendations were spot on, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening.

One of my favourite places in Jax. Amazing food and great vibes! Try the rack of lamb and fig appetiser - both are incredibly delicious! The old fashioned is best one in the area, and a ‘Ginger Pear’ ldrink is awesome too. Thank you so much for the great evening and incredible food.
