Do not use them! I have been with Harrington for years then Doug and Tammy bought the business. They sent ALL my original paperwork with ALL my personal information to another person in another state. Luckily the people contacted me. When I informed elevated they were less then cooperative on getting my information back and secured. After several weeks and request I have still not gotten a call back from Tammy or Doug. I felt posting a honest review was my last resort.
The service for the smallest request has gone unanswered and ignored for 30+ days. I have called, emailed and text with no response. I was recommended a few years ago when Tammy Long owned it, she sold to this company and the service has been horrible. I was patient for 30+ days emailing weekly , was trying to be respectful that it was tax season. I need info before my appt with the IRS which is tomorrow and I dont have what I need. What I need was suppose to filed with IRS in 2024/2025 yet the IRS says they have no record of my CpA filing it. Charging 850.00 to prepare taxes you would think you could get what you need within a reasonal amount if time. Maybe this will grab someones attention
When they took over Harrington & Associates and absorbed us as clients, they were utterly unprepared to take care of our accounts. I was informed by a friend of mine this past spring, who also used them, of the transfer a full month before they reached out to me via email. I sent countless emails that were not responded to, and am very grateful that I switched accountants to file my 2024 taxes. They never offered to file extensions for my business or personal taxes, and yet I just got an email that they were ready to file my taxes for the 6 month extension deadline? Unresponsive, rude, dismissive, disorganized, and terrible. I’m SO glad I bailed and went elsewhere before they could mess up my taxes like they did my colleague’s. Their terrible communication and customer service is exactly how they run their practice.
Doug and his team are wonderful. I am so glad we found Elevated CPA. Doug takes time to answer all of our questions. He is very knowledgeable CPA that helps take the stress out of running several businesses. Highly recommend!
Doug was referred to me be a friend and so far really seems to be great. i havent done my filing yet but he has been very helpful with answering questions. Ricky does my bookkeeping and has been great so far has saved me time that i can use to focus more on the business.
