Elevate Life Church — Oakleaf

It's absolutely the place of worship for the misfits who don't like church environments. You'll find nothing short of unconditional love and acceptance here. There are eKids programs to keep the youth involved, small groups to facilitate strengthening faith, and fun events to foster a sense of community.

The church at first was welcoming and I enjoyed it but I realized they care more about numbers than making anyone feel welcome. The way they handle baptisms is honestly is insane. It’s like a mass baptism day. That seems not genuine more so to get as many people baptized. To me isn’t the point. It should be meaningful and then once you get baptized they barely speak to you. The person that baptized me never spoke to me again. Super disappointing. Plus my daughter absolutely hated the 1st grade Sunday school class and would cry to stay with me. Also often times it’ll be you will watch the pastor on the screen. Not very personal and I have never seen pastor Tim speak to anyone besides staff. He acts like a celebrity that can’t be bothered. Overall it’s super tacky not genuine and they’re money hungry. A million dollar budget to expand the church? I haven’t seen any renovations.

Dear God, I love this place! Never have I ever felt so compelled to write a review on a church. I’ve been in and out of church all my life, but once I made it here, I knew I was home. PLEASE, if you’re looking for a change in your life, you have to check Elevate out. If your unsure, you can always live stream, but don’t let that stop you from coming in one day for such a welcoming experience. Come Saturday evening, or three chances on Sunday. (9, 11 or 1). Also, they have an excellent youth ministry on Wednesday night. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Pastor Tim, Kenil, and the awesome service team will not disappoint.

Took me a few years to realize this church is entertainment - full of prosperity preachers & motivational theme. They only care about their reputation, not the gospel. This becomes clear when especially the women on staff (including the pastor’s wife) preaches sermons on certain Sundays. And if you’re trying to fit in & mingle in that place, good luck. Find a real & rightful church.
