We have been here 2.5 years now. No problems. The office people they have now are really professional and do a great job of handling things. The property is well cared for and the maintenance people do a great job of taking care of any problems. They go out of their way to make sure things are taken care of quickly even when things happen during their off hours. We feel very safe living here and would definitely recommend this place. They often have celebrations for the residents during holidays. It's a nice way of getting to know your neighbors.
If you are looking for a place to stay, the Element At River Point is the place to live. It's affordable, with decent amenities. Staff is great. Kathy the manager is awesome. She has always goes beyond to help me in my times of need. Maintenance staff is great as well. If you looking for affordable housing, in a decent side of Jacksonville, this is it. Thank you Kathy for always helping me when needed. I'm proud to say, I'm a happy tenant.
Ms. Katty and her receptionist are exceptional at their jobs. I was greeted as soon as I entered made to feel comfortable and welcome… Ms. Katty is a fountain of information and a great tour guide she showed me every part of the property … your office team at this location is definitely representing The Element to the best of their abilities!
Only fix temporary things instead of fixing the reason behind the issue. Old pipes that leak that cause mold the smells throughout the apt coming from the ac unit due to a leak that i complained about several times and even showed picture to the maintainamce mean that barely apeak spanish about mold because my av that they claim that wasnt ac leak. Inside the walls are molded. They fixed the leak temp but when you dont fix what is internally wrong there will always he an issue. They put holes in the wall and does not fully complete the cover up. Increased the rent but dont want to fix internal issues the root cause of it. Staff rude. Glad im out of there and into a smelled good and clean environment. Current apt that is worth my money. Say they have renovated even those has the worst issues from my experience.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO READ IF YOU PLAN TO MOVE INTO THIS PLACE!!! I signed a contract to spend 1 year here and moved out a month ago and this was my experience. This has been the worst place I’ve ever lived in my life. Anyone who gives more than 1 star is a spam or lie. The first thing to know is this; they will not let you see the apartment until you sign the lease since you will see dozens of roaches a day. It doesn’t matter how clean you keep your place they’ll come out from everywhere all the time! And now because I’ve been here for a year I had to toss hundreds of dollars worth of furniture and electronics they’ve infested to try not to bring roaches into my new place. And calling their pest control is a waste of time. I’ve called them several times and every time it did NOTHING to decrease the bugs. Using normal roach spray from a store is more effective seeing less roaches. You will see roaches all over inside your fridge and freezer too, since they are so small they can squeeze in the cracks. When you first move in you won’t be able to use the water or shower for the first 2 weeks because the water will smell like rotting eggs and when I accidentally gave it to my dog once around that time it was so unsanitary it made her sick. So don’t try showering until you get rid of the smell and negative effects by leaving the water on a drip for a week. You’ll also see yellow streaks coming down from your bathroom walls the more you shower. And they have such thin walls you’ll be able to hear almost everything your neighbors are doing. I’ve had to listen to people blasting music and partying all night it doesn’t matter if they turn the music down, your going to hear it through these walls. I’ve heard arguments, people getting intimate, music blasting, tvs playing, you’ll hear it all. Most of the doors don’t work. Almost every door in this apartment has come off its hinges from how cheap they are made and I’m a girl who was living alone, I’m not very strong and I’m gone at work most of the time. I lived at my last apartment for 4 years not one door came off its hinges, i was here for a year and EVERY SINGLE DOOR has come off its hinges. The screen doors haven’t even been able to slide open since I’ve moved in because they failed to fix their sliding feature after the last tenants. There’s constantly loitering, vandalism, and littering. This place has been broken into so much there is glass shattered at the bottom of many windows. My brand new car has scratches all over the handles from people trying to break in so much I’ve had to buy security cameras. Random people have tried walking in my apartment multiple times. There’s trash all over the ground, you’ll see it scattered everywhere even tho there’s a dumpster nearby. Even the creek behind my apartment is scattered with hundreds of pieces of trash. One of their trees rotted so bad it fell on several cars including my car and despite most neighborhood policies considering giant rotting trees a safety hazard assuming if it had fallen the opposite way it would have crushed several people in their building yet this neighborhood refused to acknowledge that policy or cover any of the damages so anyone who randomly gets themselves or their car crushed while living here will suffer a huge personal and financial loss and this neighborhood will do nothing for the person despite the neighborhood not maintaining proper safety requirements. So everything’s cheap and will break, you’ll have hundreds of roaches to deal with a week, almost all your property will be damaged or destroyed, and since this neighborhood doesn’t follow proper safety standards your life and car will literally be at risk. They just shut down their pool recently because so many people were using it as a shower making it constantly a disgusting green filled with dirt so there’s no pool now. Even after moving out I’ve still had to spend hundreds of dollars on an exterminator to get rid of roaches that came from this place.
