This is an excellent Hotel to stay at. Cheryl and staff make you feel at home away from home. From fast check in, friendly service, clean room and phenomenal staff that goes over and beyond. Thank you
Decent for a Long-Term Stay, But Not Worth the Price for One Night. This hotel is brand-new construction, and you can definitely smell that “new” feeling when you walk in. The room appeared clean, and the front desk young lady was nice and helpful. However, for $135 for one night for a two-queen suite after taxes and the resort fee, I honestly don’t feel like the cost matches what you get. The hotel seems much more geared toward people needing an extended or long-term stay. The room itself had some nice features, including a full-size refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stove, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi that was very easy to use. The queen-size beds also felt a little larger than expected. One thing I really liked was the security. You have to scan your key card to get through the doors leading to the guest rooms. After hours, you have to scan your key card to enter the reception area and then scan it again to get to the rooms. I actually really appreciated that because it made the hotel feel more secure. There are also some convenient things nearby. Walmart, a hospital, and several food options are very close, and the hotel is right next to a police station. There is free coffee and a vending machine with snacks, although you’re honestly better off going to the Walmart next door. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which is a plus for people traveling with pets. I even saw someone with a Cane Corso. It’s also non-smoking, which works perfectly for us since we don’t smoke. Unfortunately, there were quite a few negatives: - No pool. - No continental breakfast. - Only a gym and laundry room as major amenities. - No ice machines. - Water pressure was really low. - The A/C was set as low as 68°F, but the room still felt warm throughout the night. - No late checkout. - Sheets and pillowcases felt extremely cheap. They were so rough that it felt like something was scratching me throughout the night. - If you like sleeping against the wall in a double room, be aware that there is no nightstand on that side. - The vending machine is limited. - Once the person leaves the front desk, you’re pretty much out of luck if you need something. - Getting to the hotel is a little confusing, and there isn't much solid lighting around the property at night. The biggest issue for me is the resort fee. Charging a resort fee when there isn't a pool, breakfast, or other substantial amenities feels unreasonable. At this price point, I expected a little more. Overall, the hotel is clean, new, secure, and has a room setup that would probably work well for someone staying for an extended period. But for a one-night stay, I don't think it's worth the money. For another $20–$40 a night, I would personally stay at a Hampton Inn or TownPlace Suites about five minutes away and get more for my money. Bottom line: Nice, new, clean, secure, and convenient location — but the price and resort fee don't match the amenities. Great concept for extended stays, but there are better values for a short stay. Also not sure why it wont let me upload photos.
I love wyndam echo suites in middleburg fl Cheryl Celene and Sara are wonderful host and the rooms are beautiful thanks Cheryl ur the best
I wanted to love this hotel. The staff were fantastic, the location was convenient. Price was half what most of the hotels around were going for. It had a full size fridge, microwave and stove. Now for the bad, I was eating a snack by the bed and when I turned around, there was a huge roach inside the container. The bed was too firm for me, the sheets were not a good quality. They only gave us 2 towels and 2 washcloths and we had to pay extra if we wanted them to change the sheets or towels. The microwave light was bright and shined right towards the bed. The lights were on a motion sensor. No mirror outside of the bathroom. The curtains weren't black out. They also didnt take out the trash and didnt give us any instruction of where we should put the trash.
Echo Suites: Checking in isn’t a comfortable experience. It’s almost like you’re checking in to a jail, rehab or project rather than a hotel. Don’t get me wrong, the fellas running the desk were real kind, it’s just a bizarrely sterile and uninviting environment. They take a copy of your DL which is usually a red flag for me. But this hotel is brand new and the sheriff’s department is right next door so it can’t be that bad can it? Once you’re checked in you still have to use your key to go beyond the lobby, which combined with the non-automatic doors makes moving in anything with the luggage carts rather cumbersome. Speaking of luggage carts, on Sunday some scumbag guests claimed them early and stayed in their rooms with them so I had to carry all my stuff out including a large Yeti cooler. Maybe the hotel should require people to check them out and fine them if they don’t return them in a timely fashion. The hallways smell perfumed almost too much but it’s probably better than the smell you usually get when staying in extended stay hotels. My room was super clean as was the rest of the hotel. My bed left a bit to be desired. It wasn’t super uncomfortable but it wasn’t really comfortable either. There are no cooking apparatus, pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc in your room. I suppose you have to check them out from the front desk, but I never did inquire to verify. The back door to the lobby wouldn’t function properly, forcing me to either end of the building or all the way around when wanting to enter from the back (which made loading my stuff easier on the way out). In summary, the staff are legit, the place is kept very clean, the back door needs fixed and luggage carts need AirTags or some tracking system.
