I have run these trails a lot and have not gotten tired of them. If you are facing north and enter the woods going slightly to the left, there is a path that goes out, loops around, and comes back out. That path is about 1.2 miles and is a great wooded walking/running path. I have seen bicycles on this path as well as people walking their dogs. The wooded trail is unpaved and mostly dirt, often covered by leaves, making it not ideal for using anything with wheels, but it is great for being on foot. The path is generally dry with some exceptions if there has been a lot of rain and it is high tide. There are lots of trees and shade on this path, and you will definitely want to pack bug repellent if you are not running because you likely will get bit up. There is another paved path that actually leads out to the island if you are looking to explore on a bicycle that is also very scenic

Beautiful scenic trails, stroller friendly on some. Picnic areas. Clean restroom. Although I didn’t kayak, they do have a kayak launch.
great place, been camping here since i was little. if you are camping try your best to get campsite 8, as it is very private scenic and has a private beach/ kayak launch. go at high tide and its so fun to jump off the docks into the water.
This was a very enjoyable walk with some great views. It took about 40 minutes to complete going the longest way possible. I didn’t give it five stars because it lacks elevation changes and while the views were great, they were not spectacular.
