Nice, small baseball fields in the middle of a neighborhood. Not far from the interstate and food places. Fields get soaked pretty easily after hard rain. Plenty of seating areas even with coverings. Bleacher style seating available. Restrooms are pretty clean. Concession was plentiful with hot food and other baseball food. 😉
Florida Elite Tournament used these fields for their tournament among others around. Soccer fields with no lines painted, bad lighting at night and the worst and nasty portable bathrooms I have ever see. They were so close to the fields that spectators couldn't seat around. No space for chairs , not ready for a tournament for sure.
The county will reserve these fields - and ALL St John's County parks - for FOR PROFIT organizations like Florida Elite (don't let them lie to you, dig in, they are a for profit corporation) and leave ZERO space for people to simply bring their families to be outside together. VOTE THEM ALL OUT!
I was at my brothers game! My brother is very scared of swinging because he is scared to get hit. We have an inside joke and it ALWAYS cheers him up. The umpire today on 03/30/21 for the 5:30 baseball game decided to make a comment towards me. It was extremely inappropriate and unneeded. But thanks to my family and I, my brother made a point for the team. I feel very angry that I am being judged for helping me brother be the best that he can in a fun and positive way.
