I had an amazing experience at my dentist office with Dr. Nemetz getting my wisdom tooth removed. I was extremely nervous beforehand, but the entire staff made me feel comfortable and cared for from start to finish. The dentist was professional, gentle, and explained everything clearly throughout the process. The procedure was much quicker and smoother than I expected, and my recovery has been going really well. I truly appreciate the patience, kindness, and excellent care I received. Highly recommend this office to anyone needing dental work done!
Best dentist that I have been to since moving here in 2015. I have been to a few that put on the high pressure sales pitch like they do at car dealerships. Dr. Nemetz doesn’t push unnecessary procedures on you. He has integrity and does great work!
I was really looking forward to my appointment with Dr. Nemetz after receiving many recommendations. My daughter has also been a patient of his wife for years, and we’ve always had wonderful experiences, which made me feel confident going in. Unfortunately, my visit was not what I expected. I understand that certain procedures are very routine for the team, but for me this was the first time in about ten years undergoing something like this, and I was understandably nervous. I was there to have an old crown removed and a temporary one placed, and the process felt extremely rushed. During the procedure, I felt there was very little opportunity to pause, rinse, or regroup when I expressed discomfort. I have bruxism and had lost my night guard, so my jaw was already sore going into the appointment. Holding my mouth open for an extended time caused jaw pain and a headache, and when I asked for breaks, I felt that my requests were met with visible annoyance. While the crown was being removed, debris repeatedly went toward my throat, and the suction did not seem to be working effectively, which caused me to choke and become anxious. At the same time, my nose was congested, making it difficult to breathe through it, yet I was repeatedly told to do so. This combination made the experience overwhelming, and I became very emotional. At one point, my right arm went numb. When I tried to move my hand, it was pushed back down, and although I tried to communicate that it was numb, I felt I couldn’t properly respond or explain because my mouth was occupied. Communication felt one-sided throughout much of the appointment. Before the temporary crown was placed, I asked to use the restroom. The response I received made me feel discouraged from going, which added to my distress. I did step away briefly and was visibly upset before returning to finish the procedure. I want to emphasize that my intention in sharing this is not to criticize, but to offer feedback. I truly believe that slowing down, allowing patients to pause, clearly acknowledging physical discomfort, and creating space for communication would make a significant difference, especially for anxious patients or those with jaw issues. I appreciate the skill and professionalism of the practice overall, which is why this experience stood out so much to me. I do need to return in a few weeks, and I hope that with better communication and a more patient-centered pace, the next visit will be a more positive one.
My recent extractions were a fairly pain-free and almost comfortable experience. Being a returning patient after many years, I highly recommend Dr. Nemetz.
Dr Nemetz was a referral from my sister, he was a couple hundred dollars less.each tooth than my then dentist on 2 crowns that were a rush job bc I broke one a few weeks before my brothers wedding! I I like the dentist & his staff. Everyone is so friendly, It makes the huge difference!!
