I have to give Dr. Kai Mcgreevy 5 Stars because I went there to ensure my circulation and nerves were good to have a procedure done. 1st Appointment was amazing from the minute I walked in I was greeted by such lovely people.my vitals were taken and the young man was very sweet and courteous. I seen Kai and he spent a great deal of time with me. Testing was done in office by amazing staff, very knowledgeable, and explain each step. I feel bad that people did not have a wonderful experience as I did. I seen Ryan for my follow ups he is just amazing I have an amazing relationship with him. Ryan is so smart and listens to everything I say and knows what is going on with me. I was impressed because that means with all the patients he has he took the time to refresh his memory about my situation before the visit. The staff in the front have always treated me with respect and kindness so I’m really grateful that I’m treated fairly and equitable.
I started going here for pain management for Shingles which turned into PHN. The first visit was decent. Nice Doctor, put me on medication my PCP didn't and for a bit all was good. Next visit met second Dr. "Not sure why he put you on that....let's try the sister drug." Again no issues. Third, fourth, fifth visit longer in waiting room than to talk to the Dr. Literally 2 minutes. "Let's stay the course." OK fine. It's not getting better but not worse. Paid my copay and on my way. 2nd, 34r, 4th visit mysteriously my copay didn't cover all the charges despite having BCBS. Now each time I go I pay a 35 copay, plus another 99 for tests that aren't run. Went to refill my script and refused because I did t pay my obligatory 2 minute visit or 120 dollars to hear the same thing. Oh well. Proceed with caution.
I've heard great things about this DR, but good luck getting to him. Months to get an appointment, and this is a follow up appointment. Won't follow up with your blood work results. Expect to spend 45min-1.5hr on hold just to have the staff hang up on you. Terrible front office staff.
Met Dr McGreevy once, very nice listened to my concern and issues. Had testing done also nice. However follow up appt was not . Nurse PA was curt , had no idea about my history. Indicated could not read my X-ray report, wanted to give me a shot . Never explained my test results . Mentioned brace never told me what or where to get it. Sent me to check out. Less than 10 min in office . I was not told I wouldn’t see the doctor. I have called several times to speak with Dr McGreevy. Haven’t heard from him since 2/28. The PA did finally call to apologize. We came to a plan of treatment. Too bad their office scheduling person, called to schedule injection etc. She would not listen that a plan was in place, told me I was refusing and hung up on me. I hope Dr McGreevy sees this and changes how his office is run. Now I’m being charged for my records from their company holding office. Never got anything from them. Got them from Dr McGreevy staff for continuity of care.
Terrible office. They screwed up my appointment and tried to cancel it when I had taken the day off. You will have to allow 3-4 hours for a simple visit as you will sit in the waiting room for at least an hour from your appointment time. They over book on purpose it seems. Find another doctor
