I have had to be a patient of this practice for several years because the physician she works with was listed as my PCP. Unfortunately, I have rarely felt heard or that my concerns were adequately addressed. I have been in and out for an appt wirhout the Dr ever actually examining me. So I only go when absolutely necessary. There has been little to no follow-up on testing, and test results have not been routinely discussed with me. My requests to review lab tests were ignored. I have also repeatedly been asked to undergo testing that I felt was unnecessary or duplicated testing already being done by my specialist. At my most recent visit, I pushed back on several tests that did not relate to my reason for being there. I also requested a prescription I had previously been prescribed by my former PCPs. Instead of addressing that request, I was told I would need additional, paid visits, again duplicating services I recently paid for elsewhere..I told hwr I couldn't afford the money or time for repeat services. Within a week, I received a letter telling me to find another doctor. Based on my firsthand experience, I cannot recommend this practice. I would encourage others to choose a provider who listens, communicates test results, and works collaboratively with their patients.
Been going to Dr. Seda Ramirez since moving to Florida in 2018. To say I've "gotten complicated" over the last six years would be an understatement. She has been fabulous between ordering test after test, specialist referrals, etc. When I moved here I was 55 and healthy, self employed, and active. Then I went into V Fib on the beach having a spinal stroke while fishing. I now have a pacemaker, pain pump, rods in both legs, and I could go on and on. That accident should have killed me, it didn't. My doc has been there every step of the way!
Went to see Dr Seda to establish primary care. The secretary called to give blood test results and threw in her non-qualified medical opinion, to which I pushed back and asked to speak to a doctor immediately. Then i followed up two days later and was notified by the secretary that we had been discharged as a patient because of too much “commotion”. You are not running a coffee shop here, lady, where you can ban someone because they don’t like your coffee; this is someone’s health. Maybe train your secretaries not to give medical advice, and you should be ashamed of yourself as a medical professional for turning away a patient because of one awkward phone call. What a joke.
Ive was a patient for around 5 years. I've never had an issue with her or her staff. But Unfortunately last week when I went for my blood work and check up my opinion has changed. Her staff decided to perceed to tell me that Dr Rameriz no longer wants to be my Doctor. I was confused I ask if everything was OK and they said apparently another patient showed her screen shots of me talking bad about her on social media. I informed her that this was BS that I would never say anything bad about her and that I've recommended her to alot of my Co workers. I asked if I could please speak to Dr Rameriz they said NO that she doesn't want anything to do with me. I asked to see some evidence of these screen shots they said they had none. Oh and I forgot to mention that there doing this to me in the lobby infront of other patients. They didn't even have the respect to take me to the back before they started belittling me. So before I left the person talking to me informed me that the Dr would atleast call in a one month supply of my prescription so I could have it until I found a new doctor but she refused to send in the prior approval to the insurance company so I didn't have to pay out of pocket. So what normally cost $25 a month is now gonna cost me $1500.00. Needless to say I didn't get my medication refilled. The side affects on going cold turkey are really bad. They do not recommend it. Please do not see this Doctor in my opinion she is really unprofessional. The way she handled this is very sad. This is the first time I've said anything bad about her and these are facts this really just happened on Thursday. If I was able to give her 0 stars I would have. I do not recommend her as a Doctor. As fo the other Doctors at Modern Medical I can't give any feed back I've never met them.
Have went for years and seeing doctor seda is great, but not the nurse practitioner, things have not went well in my experiences with her and things have gotten difficult with the staff lately 🤦♂️ if your not seeing dr. Seda and her staff ebony then don’t waste your time, the rest of the ppl are so disrespectful and lazy and will lie to say anything that is convenient for them. They don’t take responsibility, it’s really very disheartening to be treated this way, they don’t care if your have your medicine, they only care about avoiding responsibility and going on vacation
