  (Family Medical Centers/Gatien)- Dr. Marberry practice, Jacksonville FL, has always consistently provided me with outstanding medical services and treatments for both immediate and underlying causes. I work in a professional role in healthcare administration for a very well known and respected hospital/healthcare system myself, and have gotten to multiple facilities and operations during my career in this field. I truly believe that Dr. Marberry and his exemplary team of: mid level providers, medical assistants, front office, professionals, and specialists, have an incredible synergistic dynamic. The whole team has shown world class primary care treatment and quality patient treatment. (Personal story at end of review) Being an established patient here for roughly half a decade, I have NEVER ONCE had an appointment cancelled, nor have I ever had an issue trying to reschedule. The staff are helpful, and show genuine concern for patient needs. I have had some medical issues that are hard to talk about. Dr. Marbury and his team completely changed my perspective. I feel welcomed every time I visit the office and his staff is always transparent in helping you the best they can with price transparency for certain services, and assisting with medication discounts (etc..) This practice has continuously gone above and beyond what is required of them. It is obvious that they do not look at patients just as another number, they open a honestly listen to you and have open comfortable dialogue. One recent example that I am sharing some details regarding (that lead me to scheduling this particular visit) is that there are multiple stress factors at work that I have never experienced, which have been affecting my marriage, personal, and work life. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to make sure everything was okay. ***For full transparency, If I didn’t have the trust for Dr. Marberry and his team, I would not have gone out to seek medical treatment. To start with, the professional receptionists at the front desk are very detail orientated. As a military veteran, I am consistently at least 15 minutes early for my appointments. They noticed I had not called or checked in online either. This particular morning, I had trouble getting out of bed, snoozed my alarm, and figured I might just reschedule. The professional medical receptionist at the front desk personally called to make sure everything was okay; rather than canceling my apt, she gave me a follow up call shortly after. I answered and shared some brief details of what was going on (minimal details that I was comfortable talking sharing without the Doc present). Their amazing team was able to move some things around, and got me within the next hour- same day (after we had just got done speaking on the phone). A little background about myself is that I am a veteran of the United States Navy. One of the biggest lessons I learned during my time in the military, is that you need strong leadership, and a team you can trust. I learned that this is similar to healthcare, as there is limited room for errors so everyone needs a strong trusting team dynamic, which is always present in this facility. Not only do they display such respectable traits here, but from my own personal experience they have been consistently providing outcomes, often times resulting in better results each visit. Ever since joining this team as a patient: my health has improved, my life habits and friendships have improved, I married an amazing woman, and my performance in my career has improved. After his discussion/diagnosis I felt much better knowing we had a solid game plan into action. As a gesture of gratitude (I know it’s not much), I ran some donuts over for all their hard work and dedication (the handsome Dr. Marberry is featured in picture- don’t worry, he shared them with the rest of the team 🙂) This experience really put things into perspective for me on how lucky I truly am to have such a great healthcare team looking out for me, and how different my life could be without them.
