Dr. Bernard R. Borbely, MD

I’ve been a patient for over 10 years. Doctor and staff are always pleasant and professional. Dr B is an excellent physician!

I have called my doctor twice to have him hear me hacking and coughing because I have an asthma attack. THIS was over two weeks ago. He refuses to call me back he refuses to treat his patients so I’m only led to believe that he is interested in only treating his wallet. If someone is having an asthma attack you don’t disregard the patient and not pick up the phone and contact your patient. The first time I called the nurse said she gave him the message and he said he’s waiting on results from my pulmonary function test - I’m having an asthma attack now!!! I need assistance and medication now. Called again- once again total disregard for the patient and does not contact me. My lungs are filling with fluid. You don’t disregard that and let me go into a full-blown attack -where I have to run to the emergency room or urgent care. If I wanna go to urgent care - I don’t need him to charge me for walking into his office. Thought that people should know the professionalism that is given by Dr Borbely- was so very disappointed ☹️ . Try to find someone who is interested in treating his patients. Or at least calling them back ?? Looking for someone that listens and has the common courtesy to return your call .

Dr. Borbely and his staff provide exceptional care and service. He makes value-add recommendations and involves his patients in an interactive fashion concerning treatments. A down-to-earth specialist with excellent communication skills.

Dr. Borbely is demeaning, negligent, rude, and arrogant. He dresses overly casual and sloppy, looking more like he is on vacation. He did not smile and actually appeared more annoyed with our presence than concerned. He went down his list of reasons why he believed my father was there, never once listening to my father’s concerns, in fact, cutting him off when he spoke. His office in Palm Coast is filthy and had a horrible odor. This was a horrible experience for my father and mother who were already anxious and concerned about my father’s health. I would give less than one star if possible. The board needs to check this man just based on his horrible reviews alone.
