Chris and Tony did a great job this weekend at Blue Grotto and the Rainbow Springs drift dive for both open Water certification dives as well as our nitrox class. Great time.
We were in the store to pick up supplies for a new diver who will be experiencing lobstering in the Keys. We were met by Tara who was happy to help and patient with my daughter as she selected items. Tara was happy to explain to her what would be most comfortable and useful. To top it off Tara is a Navy Veteran! Thanks for having a great knowledgeable employee.
Great staff, nice location. Only complain was find L or XL in affordable dive suits. I found something that worked and it was actually cheaper than I was expecting (nice) but L is a very common size and I just happened to go there for the first time and they were out of my size. It happens. I'd gladly go again
Our dive team arrived at KP Hole an hour and a half before the place opened, before anyone arrived, to be the first group to fairy to our scuba sight. After we paid and geared up, “Divers Supply” had skipped everyone by not paying and just walked down the boat ramp. This caused us to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes, in the heat, geared up, for the fairy to come back. As we passed them, we asked how they got in front of us, and their Dive Instructor just shrugged his shoulders. #messedup #badbuisness
My son and I just got certified and have been looking around for package deals. Found Divers Supply online and found out that the Jacksonville store was about 3 hours away from my house. I had been looking at the Hog Pro because it looked comfortable and it also has a really cool logo. I started doing homework and even watched several hours of YouTube videos, staring Bob Collins and even watched a live show Bob did on another dive channel. I asked a couple of questions and not only did Bob answer them, he reached out to me and we spoke on the phone. After talking with Bob, I knew where we would buy our dive equipment. When we got to the store we were greeted immediately by the Staff. I was blown away by the amount of stuff they have on hand at the store. Bob came out and answered any questions I still had and spent time getting the right sizes down and making sure it fit right. I can say that the Hog Pro was very comfortable right off the shelf and was everything I imagined it would be. I was only looking to get just the the Bcd and Regs, but with their prices and great attitudes, we left with everything we needed to get in the water. So glad we made the three hour drive, it was definitely worth it. I have since called Bob and put in another order for some dive lights. I know this review is long, but I can't say enough about this place and would recommend them all day long. If you are another dive shop reading this, remember attitude is everything and treating new diver's the same as professional divers goes along way in my book.
