The only disappointing part of my visit was the unexpected $230 bill at the end. Part of that is completely my responsibility, definitely share some of the blame!!! I didn’t realize I had already had X-rays and a 3D scan done elsewhere within the last three years, (I mean I remember my dental appointments for a year just not three) and my insurance only covers those services once during that time. That said, I do wish there was a way to determine that before the services were performed. I let the office know it had been over a year since my last cleaning, and I assumed everything needed would be covered. It would have been nice if there were a way to check for previous X-rays or have them transferred from my prior dentist before taking new ones. I understand they don’t know what insurance will ultimately pay until the claim is submitted, but it was still an unexpected expense. They did offer me a payment plan, which I appreciated, but I was simply caught off guard. Other than that, my visit went well. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the dentist was knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions, and the cleaning was thorough while still being gentle on my teeth and gums. Overall, I had a good experience and would return, I just hope there’s a better way to avoid insurance surprises like this in the future!

Dr.Clayton and his staff were exceptional! I’ve lived in Jax for 5 years and have been looking for a dentist I could trust for years. I’m so thankful to have met someone on their staff that recommended I come check them out, they did not disappoint!

The office is amazing.If you need an amazing dentist and overall office you have found it. I have been going to them for years and my recent dental cleaning was great. I feel so comfortable with my dental needs being met. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and especially Elizabeth for being so thorough with any concerns or questions I ever have.
