Dick Mondell's Burgers & Fries

This joint sits right off the drag in Jax Beach and man is it loud! Food is ok…nothing special but it is not pricey. If you dine outside, understand that you will not get refills on your drinks. They do charge for another if you need to quench your thirst. I recommend going to another location. This place is not unique enough to dine and dash.

We weren't sure what to expect becaie the reviews were a little mixed BUT we had a great experience! The young man thay took our order was very engaging and i really appreciate being treated with eye contact and a little "chit chat" lol. It was very clean outside and had plenty of space for their customers. We had a chicken sandwich (made like a smash pattie) with onion,cheese and bacon. It had great flavor. We also had a big dicks burger(it was a double) my husband said it was vwry good as well. We also had the sweetest potatoe tots they were hot, crunchy and fresh. We will definitely make our way back to try something different. Oh! And sweet tea which was just right!

This is a cute and simple concept burger drive thru! They do have a walk up window as well. Unlike other fast food burger joints, these burgers are thick and flavorful but not overly greasy which is the perfect combo! There aren’t any crazy options here, just your simple burgers and fries type of place. Their special sauce is delicious I think it’s ketchup mustard mayo mix. They do have tots but as of now only sweet potato. I do like that they have a ground chicken patty option as well! Everyone working here were so nice and you could tell they have been working hard to keep everything running smoothly. Definitely worth stopping by!
