Dental Arts Family & Cosmetic Dentistry: Khan Atosa DDS

I arrived just on time for my routine appointment and was courteously ushered through to the cheery dental procedure room. X-rays were taken professionally. No waiting, as Dr. A then came in and greeted me warmly. She started my exam and ultrasound cleaning; no pain and efficient. The friendly assistant completed the work with careful polishing. Great team and excellent quality care.

Chose this Dentist because they accept my insurance and their location was very convenient. Arrived for my appointment a little early and as I entered the office there was no receptionist. I stood there for awhile wondering what to do. Finally I decided to sit down. Not a great first impression. As I sat there I wondered if I should call them to let them know I was there, as I pondered that the phone rang and someone finally came out to answer the phone. When she was on the phone another patient came in after me and as soon as she got off the phone ushered that person who came in after me into a room and began the appointment. When the receptionist returned there was no greeting, just asked me my name, had me fill out paperwork. She was never friendly, not at all professional, felt like my presence was not welcome. After the paperwork the receptionist/ radiologist took X-rays, again not in any way friendly, honestly didn’t seem competent at all. So there I sat. Another patient came in after me and was immediately taken into a room for an appointment. So I sat for quite a while. Finally asks someone how long it might be and they assured me that I was next. So sat a little longer and decided that I had waited long enough. Very unprofessional staff, totally dysfunctional organization.

Everyone working in this practice is super friendly and professional including Dr Khan who took the time to explain everything that is involved in the process of my current and future dental health. I had an unpleasant experience with a previous dentist but after talking and consulting with Dr Khan, my anxiety levels dropped greatly. Great experience on my first visit.
