First time here, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The customer service was the worst I have experienced. I made it known that it was my first visit, but there was no greeting or welcoming atmosphere. It took nearly seven minutes just to enter my name, address, and phone number into the system. When asked when I wanted my items back, I requested the next day, but was told that wasn't possible and that Thursday or Friday were the only options. I agreed to Thursday, only to be told they would not be ready before closing. I then agreed to Friday before 11:00 a.m. After counting my seven items, placing a label on only one item, and setting the rest aside, I was handed a ticket. When I asked for the price, I was told she didn't know until the items were entered into the system. Her response came with an irritated tone, seemingly because I wanted to know what I was being charged. I was then told that if I wanted the price, I would have to call back later. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Customers should know what they are being charged before leaving their belongings behind. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Older black lady was the one that provided this horrible experience
Wedding dress preservation- DO NOT trust this company! 26 years after having my wife's dress cleaned & "preserved", we finally needed to open the box & let our niece "borrow" her veil. We've kept this box perfectly sealed since getting it back, and kept it inside the house in a safe spot. Opened the first box to realize there's another sealed box inside. But instead of pulling out a well-preserved wedding dress, this thing is yellow with streaky stains where it was folded. The flowers in the veil were crushed and the material was a light brown. There was some kind of RED foam that was used to fill out the top, but it was all dry rotted. On top of that, we even found silverfish in the box. This thing looks like it's from the Corpse Bride movie! We're just relieved we didn't have any daughters who would want to wear their mom's dress at their wedding!
I paid $76 for 5 dresses to be cleaned. They werent anything special, no rhinestones, beading or anything. In fact they were machine washable, which I should have just washed myself. I should have known when I dropped them off and the very sweet lady at the front desk couldn't give me a price because she didn't know, it was some over priced dealing. Did my clothes come out as expected, yes. Will I go back, no. I only gave it 2 stars because the of lady in the front.
Horrible customer service/older black lady with a bad attitude in need of my business is bad business! Overpriced, and the place reeks of cigarette smoke. Walked in and walked out! Took my happy tail to where I am appreciated as a customer and where I won't have to pay $100 only to have my clothes smelling like I just smoked a pack of newport shorts in a box! Do better!
I was greeted by the worker and it was a nice greeting, because I met on old classmate at the cleaners.
