Spending a week with the DRG team was a life changing experience. They are a beautiful example of Christ-like love to the people of Nicaragua. The Miracle House was an incredibly moving experience for our family. Seeing the love that the therapists have for the families was a testament to the work they are doing there. We had the opportunity to spend time with the kids and the families and fell in love with this ministry. Can’t wait to return!
An amazing mission filled with love and heart!! Helping to support the worlds sweetest kiddos!! The main mission team is so kind and genuine in everything they do and sacrifice their whole life to make the life of the children better and full of Jesus!! I got to go on a mission trip with them and it was one of the best and most life changing experience! I would 100000% recommend supporting this amazing Children and this mission! And they have the WORLDS BEST COFFEE!!
I had the opportunity to visit a few of their feeding centers in Nicaragua while on a missions trip. These people are the hands and feet of Jesus in Nicaragua, they have made the sacrifice to show these children who have no other support the love of Christ. Nathan and his family are sweet, diligent, trustworthy, and loving… I can’t wait to make it back to Nicaragua to see what changes they make and to visit the Rainbow Center. Please pray and search your hearts to allow the Lord to use you to work through them.
My husband took a team on a mission trip with DRG. We learned about this mission because I went to high school with the founder Nathan. He’s the real deal. He gave his life to God to serve the people of Nicaragua. His wife, a local, is amazing and was feeding kids at her home which is now the current location of the Dream Center with the very very little she had before meeting Nathan. God has used Nathan and Maria as a team exponentially. It’s simply amazing how much they have accomplished in the time they have been working on this mission. I have been so happy to see many of my friends also be impressed with this work and jump fully into supporting DRG.
Deeply Rooted Grounds (DRG) NON-PROFIT/MINISTRY: I want to emphatically express that Nathan Pendleton, his family and team are persons of integrity. I've seen the work they are doing in Jinotega, Nicaragua. They are truthful about what projects the support money goes to mindful of not being wasteful. They are making a notable impact in the community of Jinotega but have so much more to do! Nathan, Maria and his team have a huge vision inspired by God. DRG is taking care of the needs of children (physical, educational, spiritual, medical, and dental). They also have a nutritional program for pregnant and nursing mothers. Soon they are launching the Miracle House to take care of children with special needs and provide therapeutic intervention ❤ The heart of everything they do is to show the love of Jesus. I encourage you to check them out and support them financially so the work of the ministry can continue and keep growing! DRG COFFEE: is a wonderful medium blend (not to strong not too light) that makes a consistently great cup of coffee. It's awesome that this coffee is a coffee with purpose as each bag not only provides 1 child with meals for a month, it also helps the local economy in Jinotega, Nicaragua. Nathan buys the coffee from a local farmer which employs the locals of that community to pick the coffee and process it. Also supporting DRG (through buying coffee or child sponsorships), you not only provide meals but also educational opportunities for the children and DRG has been able to offer employment to people of the community. I think this is so important and gives people an opportunity to come out of stark poverty and put their hands to something so meaningful. DRG MISSION TRIP experience was great! Nathan, his wife, Maria & his team, Tania and William took such good care of us. The hotel he put us up in was clean and the staff were attentive to our needs. We had a large breakfast at the hotel each day and Maria made a homemade meal each night. I really enjoyed connecting with the children at the Dream Center, and making connections with Nathan's team and family. The trip was a nice balance of serving and having some time for adventure and taking in the culture of the region. I'm very thankful that I had the opportunity to go on this mission trip and will be going back again!! If you are looking to serve on a meaningful mission trip, I suggest you contact Deeply Rooted Grounds and schedule a time to serve.
