This place is really a joke my son is already locked up here I have came to visitation 1 other time besides today this the 2nd time someone failed to due their job per usual I sent the email back educated his case worker Justice Mcgriff that I was coming which is the process for vistation, my sister/his aunt just died its sad enough he want be able to attend the funeral but to cheat him out his visitation is insane and on top of that the AF Charles Gilbert was very inconsiderate he should not be in his role at all the injustice at this facility is insane I will be contacting whoever I need to contact as well to make sure this want happen again or to anyone else I drove 3hrs to see my son just to not be able to see him regarding a list where they failed to do their job.
My son has been therefor almost six months. To say the very least we are nor impressed with this facility. We were peomissed family counciling. Less than a month and a half befor he's gonna be out and we've had to reschedule our first family counciling with the therapist and she was a no call no show. My wife and I borh took off woek for the morni g to be sure we were available etc.... My wife call the gascility a half dozen times with all kinds of transfers and lost / dropped pgonecalls
Actually felt like I was visiting someone in prison. Had to remove my shoes and have the soles of my feet checked, metal detector body scan, patted down, front desk kept my ID and car keys.....was definitely an experience to visit with my grandson. Allowed 2 hours every other week....
This place CONSTANTLY has people escaping, extremely disruptive to the people who live nearby. You’d think at around 20 years of operation they’d figure out how to keep not only the people they’re supposed to be caring for safe, but the people who live in the immediate area safe as well. Really gives the state a bad look.
They don’t not answer the phone at all
