What better resource for a new or used car sales manager have for a prospective customer than the service department? I received this coupon in the mail and it offered an oil change for less than $35 when their standard oil change cost $80+. Nowhere on either side of the mailer did it say that the coupon was for Nissan vehicles only. I called to set the appointment. I told the receptionist in charge of setting appointments that I drive a 2004 Toyota Sienna. She said I could come in at 2:30 today (Thursday). I arrived at 2 pm and the service person met me at my car and asked for my coupon. He told me that it should take approximately 90 minutes but might take longer to get my vehicle's oil filter. He directed me to the waiting area and took my keys. I settle in the waiting room and he returned about 5 minutes later to tell me that they don't allow this coupon for non-Nissan vehicles. He went on to tell me that I could get an oil change for 80+dollars and that it's likely to cost more because "he claims" the Toyota Sienna minivan takes 7 quarts. I didn't want to argue his preposterous comment as I didn't want to be on the property one more minute than I had to. So, Davis Nissan on Cassat Avenue in Jacksonville Florida, was it worthwhile to dishonor the coupon and lose out on a glowing 5-star review from someone with over 10 million views?
