David's Barber Shop

Visiting area for the first time. Dave is sole proprietor, cutting hair since 1986. Greeted me on entry and asked if it was first time there. Explained it’s cash only. I got a traditional haircut cut and beard trim for $45. Nicely done with attention to detail. Did not rush.

This is a favorite spot of mine to get my haircut. David is a true Braber of the Ages. This shop is set in an antique theme with lots of decorative plates that have been bestowed upon him from his patrons over the years. When you step in to David's Shop you will feel like you have stepped back in time and are in your grandfather favorite barber shop! David is quiet and doesn't say much but is more than willing to talk with you should you choose to engage in a conversation. He opens early which is convient for me as I head over after dropping the kids off at school and in the summer I can get up before the house and be first in the chair @ 7am! Bring CASH as David doesn't take credit and not sure about checks.

Old school barber been around since 1986. My husband comes here to get his hair cut, even though we live 20+ minutes away. I'm not sure why he doesn't cut kids hair but this is his business and his choice.

Been going to him for years. One time I answered the phone during a haircut and he decided to repay me by clipping a chunk of hair off my back so it looked like a 3 year old cut it. He repaid my years of loyalty by refusing me service today much like the guy with the service dog.(this dude literally hates puppies). I went in to get a haircut with only 18 dollars normal haircut was 16 but I was light on funds. Come to find out after years of tipping this weird guy 10 dollars everytime in he raised the rates to 26 so I didn’t have enough money. I gave him what I had and figure I would get him next time. I mean I thought I was a good customer and I was good for the 10 dollars. I went in today and gave him a 20 and said that’s for last time and he said I was no longer allowed to get my hair cut their?? He didn’t know this but I had been in the hospital with a stroke and that’s is the only reason I didn’t come in to pay him. What a jerk after years of over tipping did you really need 8 dollars? If you want a socially awkward vindictive person cutting you hair who has no concept of business go ahead. I mean he collects plates that should say it all. Dave just please put yourself and other peoples shoes they might have more going on then u think.
