Not your ordinary food bank. Everything they provide is edible, meaning that everything is recently dated. They also provide nutritional classes sponsored by St. Vincent's. If in need you can't find better. They provide groceries on Friday's, they start sharing at 10:00a.m. But the line starts forming at 5:00a.m.. Also, they can provide clothing. I believe that's on Wendsday but you should call to be sure.

I didn't come to this place just because I wanted some extra food. I came here because I needed it for my kids and myself. What I got was 24 containers of sourcream, 3 tubs of butter, some defrosted pork stomach, a box of cereal and 3 loaves of bread. What am I going to do with 24 containers of sour cream and butter? Not going to touch a defrosted pork product. Probably one of the worst food banks I've dealt with .

Tuesdays @thursdays be there at 8am for free food pantry just pull up and pop the trunk they give out good stuff if ur ever in need for food this the place rite here thank me later shout out to pastor God bless🙏💙👈

I went there last week. I was out of meat for my grandchildren and had nothing fresh like fruits and vegetables. I ended up with 8 pds of meat, 1 flat of strawberries, 2 pkg's of mushrooms, a pkg of tomatoes, can goods, protein bars, and cereal. I cannot say enough great things about this food pantry. They are wonderful, and polite. I went to the food pantry on Shelby road and watched in total disbelief as the volunteers walked off with all the meat, all the fresh fruit and vegetables, all dairy products. What they didn't load into there cars, they then had their family and friends go through the line and take what was left. By the time the first number was called, (I was number 23) they told this person they could only have one fruit or vegetable (the left overs were rotten) given a bag of canned goods, 1 bag of dry goods, an MRE meal that had been opened and the only thing left was the entrée. I know this as I had to eat them while I was in the military. Totally unreal. I didn't know food pantries were where the volunteers went shopping with their families and friends.
