STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURER! For many years this company will take your money and when you have a claim; even a minor one their response time is terrible. I filed a claim (roof) in January; which has now been denied because they claim it was caused by humans and not by a a storm. But, oh well! Be cautious because they will send contractors that work for them and not third party companies to assess the damage. They sent a company that cut a 4' × 8' hole in our ceiling which they covered with plastic 4 months ago and is still open. On a newer note.The adjuster that was handling my case was relieved of her duties because of her unprofessional behavior with customers. And, I was transferred to a manager but it seems that nothing has changed! If you are looking for coverage find someone else because this company has "HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!"

I have this house insurance for 5 years and when I had to use for a claim they couldn’t afford coverage for my claim. Beware, this company will betray your trust for house insurance or any insurance providing from them. Find another company like I’m doing. They will deceive you. They will find any excuse for deny your claim. They took my money for years and when I need it, they can’t help me. Run away for this company as fast you can. Do not sign with them! Do not keep paying them!

I had a very disappointing experience with Cypress Property & Casualty Insurance Company. In my case, the renewal payment was taken from my mortgage escrow about three weeks before the actual renewal date. When I called to cancel and explained that I would not be renewing the policy, I was told that they will not return my money after 15 days of the day the policy will be cancel in other words i have to wait another 30 days before i get my money back even tough i have already paid them the whole year before. So the money they took for the following year they will keep for another 30 days, causing me financial stress From my perspective, this process feels extremely unfair. Even though the company already knew I was canceling and not continuing coverage, I was still left waiting a long time for my refund. That put me in a very difficult position because now my escrow account may go negative while I wait for money that was already taken out. For hardworking customers, that creates unnecessary financial stress. The lack of flexibility and the delay in returning funds made this a very frustrating experience for me. It gave me little confidence in the company’s customer service, and it makes me worry about how claims or other issues might be handled. Experiences like this damage trust and reflect poorly on the industry as a whole.

My personal experience with this company was the absolute worse. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and integrity is like nothing I have ever seen in my life. The lack of honesty and respect I experienced from them is enough to be an embarrassment for most companies. I was lied to, deceived, and made a fool of from day one of dealing with this company and would not wish how they treated me on my worse enemy. They say one thing and make promises left and right but when they realize they cannot keep to their word they simply don’t hold up their end of the deal and point fingers at everyone except themselves, they take no accountability and lie through their teeth. This company has gone as far as to hold files and financials hostage as in my case with no shame or consideration of their obligation. I am in disbelief that they are still in business considering how they treat people. If I could give a zero star review I would, but that is not an option.
