Im always looking to experience foods that remind me of home. I found this new food truck thru Facebook. The owner was personable and super engaging. I went with a co-worker and she loved it. My honest review is as follows: I had an alcapuria- it was well season and delicious; and not everyone knows how to pull that off. The mayo ketchup was great too. $10 plate which included arroz con gandules, pernil and Amarillos - the pernil was 🔥 very well season and just melt in your mouth goodness. Amarillo were good but the arroz was not really my cup of tea, Im used to a more softer grain (my favorite rice is masposteao so maybe its that) but I have to say it was flavorful. Overall a great experience will definitely recommend.
Stopped here after an appt today. The food was AMAZING. The arroz con grandules tasted just like my neighbors I ate growing up, and the pork was juicy ! Very very good and very good prices!! Can appreciate that since everything’s so expensive nowadays. Will definitely be back!!
The pinchos were absolutely incredible! perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The bread was crunchy and fresh and the perfect addition! You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. Even though they were almost sold out (because they were closing for the day), the owners were so kind and genuinely apologetic about the limited options. If the pinchos are this good at the end of the night, I can only imagine how everything else tastes! I’ll definitely be back earlier next time. I definitely recommend supporting these beautiful people that throw dowwwwnnn in the food truck! 😌 Update: I recommend EVERYTHING on this menu, I eat here multiple times a week now😂 Chef & his wife treat everyone like family such a great spot!
Absolutely Recommend “Culinary Designs” here in St Augustine. I’ve tried 3 different dishes from them and they are all delicious!!! Not just the quality (which is most important) but also the quantity of their servings are great.
Absolutely good food. You walk up to a food truck, but leave feeling like you ate at a five star restaurant. Good energy and great food. They better get the pots ready, made a new regular customer.
