I had a great time at Cue & Shisha last night. The space was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. All of the tables had well-maintained playing surfaces, and the 7-foot Diamond tables they have seem to be the preferred format for many leagues these days. They also have a strong selection of craft beers on tap—including my personal favorite, Cigar City Jai Alai—and the prices were very reasonable. A tournament was underway during my visit, but both the staff and the players remained friendly and welcoming. It created a lively atmosphere without making the venue feel intimidating to a more casual guest. They have a jukebox playing but it wasn't so loud that you had to struggle to hear your conversation or the match. They also offer regular tournaments and rotating nightly food and drink specials, so there is always a reason to come back. The easy online food ordering is especially convenient because you can stay focused on your game while your food is brought directly to you. Whether you are serious about pool or simply looking for a relaxed place to enjoy a drink with friends, Cue & Shisha is well worth visiting. The spot has been talked up by my friends who are serious about billiards and I can see why they would rather play there vs other places. Will certainly be going back!
We play APA league here two nights a week and it’s a wonderful place. Service is great and so is the food. The tables are well kept. Definitely recommend.
I've been there several times. The food is not great. I wouldn't eat there again. But what happened tonight was i/2 price pool tables, so pool ball girl said do you want a 7 or 9 ft table. We chose the 9 ft. There was no mention of full price for 9 ft table ($12 per hour) I got a bucket and later paid cash for two more beers. They added it to my tab also. When I questioned the charges, the bartender swore I did not pay cash. So I paid it but also talked to the owner about it and his attitude was basically he didn't care. It's only a $26 dollar extra but I will not go back there and I recommend no one else go there unless you want to be taken.
League and tournaments almost every night I always a blast!! Staff and Owner Chris are a gift with a smile every time I see or talk with them. I have only been going here a few months and I have made some many good friends since joining league for 8,9. I'm learning alot about pool from my new friends and have been making improvements in my pool game. On the 18th of this month a famous trick shot pro is coming for a evening...I'm so excited...I'm fascinated by the mathematical shots he will be sharing, come join me and my friends!!!!
I would give it 5 stars, BUT they don't have hookah, which is why we went there in the first place. According to Google, they have hookah. They said they haven't had it since September. The lady behind the bar was very friendly. We stayed to play pool for about an hour & grabbed a drink. Pool was priced great!! Drink was weak for $10, but would grab a beer or something next time. Didn't try food or see anyone eating anything. We would go back!!!
