I have never visited this church. But if I'm ever in the area I will make sure and do so. A man stood outside your church last week with a sign that said God bless the homeless vets. This man is not homeless himself but he has a passion for getting the word out about homeless vets. In a short video posted on YouTube several members of this church stopped and talked to the gentleman with the sign. They were all very nice and asked if he needed help. Then a member of the church came out and spoke with this gentleman for about a minute. During this interaction rather than being berated or told to leave the property, he was invited into the church. This is what the Church of Jesus Christ should be about. When a stranger is at our gate whether it's literal or figurative, we should act as Christ would act. Once again if I'm ever down in Florida, I will be happy to fellowship with this wonderful group of Christ's followers.
I just watch a video of a man receiving love and compassion from this church and from their members and people from the community. To me this church embodys what everyone should practice in their daily lives. Compassion, thoughtfulness, carring and sharing love not hate.
My family moved to St Augustine a few months ago and have been looking for a great local church that preaches the word. We are so grateful to have found Cross Creek, we can’t wait for Sundays
First off I must say that I don't live in Florida or have ever visited this church. I saw a YouTube video of someone holding a sign. Everyone was really friendly and he even got invited in. That's the way this world should be.
We have attended Cross Creek since 2003. My kids have grown up there and it is a loving friendly environment to worship Jesus and connect in Christian community.
