Dr. P is a fantastic instructor. Her assigned readings are thought-provoking and relevant, and the subsequent questions are enriching. Most importantly, she creates assignments that allow her students to work and learn in a way that feels challenging without being frustrating or defeating. Her feedback is always helpful, but more importantly actionable, and progressing through her coursework is a rewarding experience. You leave her instruction feeling not only a more confident learner, but as a genuine scholar.
Dr. Padurano was my history professor in a college course I needed to take in order to get my bachelor’s degree. Her expectations were clear, and she had the entire course organized in a way that was easy to follow. History is not my strongest subject, so I was concerned about how well I would do in this course. Due to Dr. Padurano's guidance, timely feedback, and instruction, I was able to do well!
Working with Dr.P was one of the best decisions my family made during the entire college process. From the start of our consultations, Dr.P reviewed my academic record, test scores, extracurricular involvement, and personal wants and needs for college. Over time, she helped me fix and finalize my application list personally, providing support across every aspect of the application process. She helped me with brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising my personal statement and all supplemental essays. Dr.P’s approach is direct and honest, helping me improve in my confidence both academically and personally. I have so far received acceptances from every school I have heard back from, and I highly recommend Dr.P to any student or family. Thank you, Dr.P!
Im a student of Dr. P, and I just wanted to thank her for all the help and support throughout this semester. At the beginning of the course, I struggled a lot with research and writing assignments. But I started to feel more comfortable or even began to enjoy the process of doing research and working on my assignment. This experience helped me understand that a good research paper requires not only a lot of reading, but also guidance from an amazing instructor like Dr.P. Her feedback made a big difference for me. Without her help, I don’t think I would have been able to develop my final topic or improve my work in the way that I did. It has been a very meaningful and rewarding experience. Thank you again Dr.P for all your help and encouragement this semester!
Dr. P is one of those rare professors who actually makes you level up. She’s big on academic format (and yes, it matters 😅), but it’s never just “rules for rules’ sake” — it genuinely makes your writing clearer and your thinking sharper. Her feedback is specific, honest, and actually useful, and she pushes you to look beyond the usual “great men + wars” narrative by bringing underrepresented voices into the conversation. Challenging in the best way. If you want a class that makes you better (not just busier), take World History up to 1500– with Dr. P. ☺️😉
