We rely on Cornerstone often, and they’ve become a trusted extension of our family. Knowing we have a team we can count on gives us real peace of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, compassionate in-home care.

I am an 81 year old Disabled US Navy Veteran. I split my time between St Augustine (living alone) and Charlotte NC. I require a Home Health Aide so I blindly contacted Natalie at Cornerstone in World Gold Village in May of 2025. Best call I could have made. She provided support to get my VA Community Care setup, quickly analyzed my needs and selected aides accordingly. From May till September Natalie handled my care, maintaining almost weekly contact to ensure my needs were being met. I returned to St Augustine in February and let Natalie know a month in advance. As expected she again provided support in every area. She actually went beyond expectations this time and provided a male aide, named Tendei, who is from South Africa. Tendei is, without hesitation, the absolute best Aide I have ever had from any Home Health Service, here or in Charlotte. He is professional, courteous, considerate and intuitively talented in every facet of Caregiving! He seems to know my needs even before I do! You cannot go wrong with using Natalie and Cornerstone to care for your loved one no matter the needs. I would rate them 10 Stars, but only 5 are available. And if you are lucky enough to get Tendei, the Star rating goes to ***************!

We’ve had a great experience with Cornerstone. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Good communication, great service, and an overall positive experience from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Definitely a business that deserves the 5 stars!

We had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience with this company while caring for my father. The level of care was not only unprofessional but, at times, unsafe. One caregiver appeared to be under the influence—nodding off during their shift—which is completely unacceptable when responsible for someone’s well-being. On another occasion, a caregiver locked my father’s wheelchair and left him sitting in the middle of the room for approximately 30 minutes without assistance or explanation. Reliability was also a major issue. Caregivers frequently failed to show up as scheduled, leaving us scrambling to ensure my father was not left without care. To make matters worse, the company gave us only two days’ notice that they would no longer be providing services. This lack of communication and abrupt termination of care put our family in a very difficult position. We trusted this company to provide safe, consistent care for a vulnerable family member, and they failed on every level. I would strongly caution others before using their services.
