From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how exceptionally clean and well-organized the office is. The environment immediately put me at ease. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made a meaningful difference during a time of transition for me. Most importantly, Dr. Ramon Ruiz Rivera was outstanding. He is not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also deeply compassionate and patient. He took the time to truly listen, answer all of my questions thoroughly, and make me feel seen and cared for, not just as a patient, but as a person. It is rare to find this level of excellence combined with such warmth. I am incredibly grateful to have found Conviva and feel confident that I am in very good hands. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality care delivered with both expertise and heart.
Beach Blvd. Location: I care for my mom as she chooses to age at home and I often accompany her to appointments. I’ve worked for a medical establishment and notice the good and the bad with all her doctors. This is a good place for seniors. Mom likes this place but there’s room for improvement. Great doctors and staff. The facility is clean, welcoming, and I love that the patient rooms cater to elderly if mobility issues arise-low tables, wide rooms for wheelchairs, easy-step scale, a lab onsite for blood draws. Not to mention the automatic door. I’m often baffled when senior care facilities have a regular door so Thank You for making caregiving lives easier! The physicians seem to really care, they are thorough and diligent with advocating for senior healthcare needs. Really great doctors at the Beach location. The staff are wonderful. I love meeting all of the happy folks. This tells me the leadership is doing a great job keeping up morale. Upon arrival, we often have to wait a few while the front desk attendants finish a phone call (This is a red flag but most facilities operate like this). However, the ladies are efficient and we never wait long. Moreover, they are also awesome with greeting us so we forget that we waited a few. The wait isn’t bad but jeez-I’ve watched these ladies hustle and I am often a little taken aback by their job-scope. Then there is the exit. A huge disconnect. I cannot tell you how many times we were not properly greeted upon exit and eventually just walked out the door without a touch-base or paperwork. Suggestion: Have a better designated area for check-out and keep this area clear of phone work or insurance calls or whatever. Patient check-out is just as important as patient check-in. Seems like a staff-numbers issue or design flaw? And, I’m not being nit picky-we once waited 30 minutes to be checked out and just left. I’m sure it’s tough keeping the place well staffed with great workers but there’s something amiss with check-in and check-out. The portal is top notch. You can message your provider and check on labs. Easy to use and access records. Now the worst is contacting the office. We have had issues with calling the office or trying to schedule an appointment. Twice we booked an appointment only to be told later there was nothing in the calendar. Tech issue or wrong location booked ? No -they checked and nothing in system so probably a tech issue. Prescriptions and referrals to other practices get delayed and lost 3 out of 5 visits. No kidding. Seems like an another bug in technology and not the physician’s or staff’s fault. There’s something not right with the computer system so please check into this. All and all, giving this place 4 stars because it’s a great place for seniors. Just don’t expect perfection. Not to mention, there’s a huge shortage of medical professionals in FL and the baby boomer generation is fast-outpacing other age groups so be patient! I’m glad this place is available for mom’s care.
I love this place! Ephrem is great at taking blood. He’s always so kind. I love Ieasha in the wellness center. She is always so helpful and sweet. Great place to be!
The staff is still great! To bad the doctors care is not. Dr H Rosa is nice knowledgeable and I think he cares. I needed bloodwork. But he set the labs for 3 months away. Why? The other doctors do not care about the patients. They're mannerism is quick and decisive. They did not listen to my history and my current complaint. I was having a crisis. I couldn't see my prinary because Dr Rosa rescheduled me. So I saw the other dr. I was begging for help and my appointment with the specialist was 3 weeks away. This dd told me "I guess you will just have to wait it out". Then as he was quickly leaving I mumbled o didn't want to go in the hospital. His reply as he opened the door to leave "do what you have to do". I did. I left the practice.
I chose this facility for my mother who is 87. I am disappointed to report that her doctor doesn't seem to care about her health. She is dealing with an issue that was never dealt with. I had to get involved. My mom wasn't even aware that she has this health issue. Conviva advertises special care for seniors. I'm not seeing it
