I cannot say enough about how wonderful Rabbi Glasser has been for my family. During my aunt’s end-of-life care, she was a constant source of comfort and guidance. She was always available to answer questions, offer support, and provide reassurance when we needed it most. Her compassion and presence meant the world to us. Although I am not a member of the congregation myself, I have been so impressed by the warmth and kindness shown to my family. The building itself is beautiful, and the community has been incredibly accommodating. It’s clear that this is a special place where people truly care. I am deeply grateful to Rabbi Glasser and Congregation Ahavath Chesed for everything they have done for us.
Great congregation. I converted here and the rabbis have been very helpful. Also the community has been very welcoming.
Congregation Ahavath Chesed has been a true home for me and my family. Rabbi Glasser has led us through multiple lifecycle events—both joyful and difficult—with compassion, grace, and deep care. From baby namings to funerals, she has been a steady, meaningful presence during the most significant moments in our lives. What makes this community so special is how it truly shows up. The Temple has surrounded my family with support in times of need and celebrated with us during moments of joy. Whether it’s Shabbat services, holiday gatherings, or the incredible Temple 20s and 30s group, there’s always a place to feel welcomed, connected, and valued. I’m deeply grateful to be part of a synagogue that lives its values and genuinely supports its members every step of the way
I walked just under 5 miles to come here to worship on Friday evening, and was treated very rudely at the door by security and one of the members, not welcoming at all, cagey and suspicious. I am glad to dust off my feet at their gate, and worship somewhere else.
As non-Jews, we felt so welcomed by everyone at a recent Bar Mitzvah. A fantastic experience, thank you all!
