I paid him $50 to come put transmission fluid in my jeep, and he found a couple cross threaded bolts on transmission pan. So he didnt put in the fluid or anything. Absolutely did nothing for his "service call" but still got me for $50. He said he was going to come back to fix it the next day, then rescheduled saying his truck broke down, still hasnt showed on the new scheduled day, and keeps making excuses every time it's the scheduled day for him to show back up. Today I text him and asked if he was coming, he text back how may I help you like he doesnt know what im talking about. When I told him who I was, and that we have an appointment, he once again tells me he cant come today...Been taking time out of our day waiting for him. I don't recommend using him for anything.

I would just like to highly recommend Compassionate Mechanics. He came within 2 hours of me contacting him. Collected parts and got my car fixed within a couple hours. He REALLY saved my butt considering most mechanics can't come on such short notice and are closed the weekends. Edwin is not a cheap mechanic but his prices are fair and he's to the point. Upfront quotes. Honest. I was going to pay him for a transmission fluid change but he informed me my fluid was fine and that was not needed. Tells you when he finds other issues without just doing them and charging you for it or disregarding them entirely. My car is now running smoothly. Very happy with him and will be using him in the future. 💜

Just wanted to give a Thank You and Shout Out to Ed and his family with Compassionate Mechanics. My husband and I both had issues with our cars (when it rains it pours) and we called Compassionate Mechanics because we needed a mobile service for my husband’s car. Ed got back to us right away and scheduled the next day. Ed even brought his father in law along to help look over the car and give his expertise on the vehicle since he has over 40 years working on vehicles and offered another hand to thoroughly examine and get the job done since we had more things to replace than we thought. Ed was very real with us, educated us by bringing us out to look at each step of the repair. He is truly caring and when he found out that I was tight on money and with no vehicle to work, he helped us get the parts to fix my SUV so I would be safe and we weren’t stranded. He is good people and we will be calling him anytime we need anything done to both our vehicles.

I called to have my alternator and fan clutch replaced on my 1999 Jeep. He was on time, professional, and did a super job for a great price ... I recommend!
