  A Remarkable First Impression I walked into Community First Credit Union as a non-customer, so I had absolutely no expectation of receiving the kind of attention and genuine hospitality I experienced. What I received from Tammy, however, was far beyond ordinary customer service—it was the kind of personalized, thoughtful service that makes you stop and reconsider where you choose to do your banking. Tammy was exceptional from beginning to end. She was knowledgeable, patient, welcoming, and, most importantly, genuinely invested in helping. There was no sense that I was simply another person walking through the door. She took the time to listen, answer questions thoroughly, explain things clearly, and make sure I left feeling valued and respected. That may sound simple, but anyone who has dealt with banks and financial institutions knows how uncommon that level of personal attention can be. Here’s the part that says everything about the experience: we will be moving our business from our current credit union to Community First. One conversation and one employee made that much of an impression. Tammy is a tremendous asset to Community First Credit Union. People often talk about rates, products, technology, and convenience when choosing a financial institution—and those things certainly matter. But sometimes the deciding factor is simply having someone on the other side of the desk who treats you like a person rather than an account number.
