Columbia was recommended to us by two locals. The restaurant is excellent. Its interiors are vintage and classy. Service is great. And the food was too good. I really enjoyed their Shrimp Salteado with yellow rice. Obviously started with some Cuban ‘old-fashioned’ cocktails. We also had a Columbian sandwich on the table which was great too
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the service was phenomenal, and our server, Emily, truly made the evening. She was kind, attentive, friendly, and exceptional at her job. She checked on us often without ever being intrusive and made us feel genuinely welcome. One of the highlights of the night was the fresh sangria, which was prepared tableside. Not only was it a fun experience to watch it being made, but it was also, without a doubt, the best sangria I've ever had! The food was fantastic overall. The chicken croquettes were fresh and cooked well, but in my opinion, they were a bit bland. That said, every entrée our group ordered was absolutely delicious. My stuffed shrimp was flavorful, although it arrived only barely warm. Also, one member of our party ordered the steak, and unfortunately it didn't come out with the other five meals. He ended up waiting about 15 minutes after the rest of us had been served. It seems like the timing and coordination coming out of the kitchen could use a little improvement. Even with those small hiccups, this is still an easy 5-star review. The incredible service from Emily, the amazing food, the fresh tableside sangria, and the overall ambiance more than made up for the kitchen timing issues. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Very stylish restaurant, and nice Spanish food! 1905 salad is very special. The shrimp tapas is delicious as always. The seafood platter is great! The specialty dessert Fran is very tasty! Matthew is great introducing the restaurant history and cultures very well. Definitely will come back!
We came in with a table of 10 and were welcomed quickly with great service from the start. We ordered the sangria for the table, and it really hit the spot after a hot day. A few of us thought it leaned a little sweet, but overall it was delicious. The bread was so good we honestly wanted to take some home for the next day. We also ordered the croquettes and empanadas, which were absolutely savory, flavorful, and mouthwatering. The salad was decent, but it had tough competition following those appetizers. The ropa vieja was very good, although a little heavier on the tomato flavor than expected. I had the seafood paella, which was incredibly filling — I couldn’t even finish it. Some at the table thought the seafood flavor was a bit strong, but overall it was still enjoyable. To end the night, we had the flan and apple pie, and both were amazing desserts that perfectly hit the spot. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again!
Fantastic food in an authentic restaurant! Every dish that our group ate was superb! The Paella and the key lime pie were better than any restaurant I can think of. The restaurant is huge and decorated so nice with a cute little gift shop too. We will most definitely be back! Service by Kaley was perfect!
