Coliseum of Comics Oakleaf

Family-friendly, welcoming, and shimmering with nerd joy. Coliseum of Comics has become one of our favorite neighborhood spots. We’re a comic-loving, gaming-curious family, and this is exactly the kind of place we were hoping to find to pass our love for comics, collectibles, and gaming down to our girls. The store is packed with goodness — comics, figurines, games, and that unmistakable “you belong here” energy. We stop in often, sometimes to grab something specific, sometimes just to browse, chat, and soak in the vibe with other comic and tabletop friends. It’s the kind of place where kids feel welcome and adults feel like kids again. The staff is friendly, patient, and genuinely excited to help, whether you’re a longtime collector or just starting out. Having a spot like this right in the neighborhood is such a win — a safe, fun, and inspiring place for families who love all things comic-book nerdy. Definitely a destination if you’re into this sort of thing. Highly recommend for collectors, gamers, and families raising the next generation of nerds. 🦸‍♀️🎮📚

I stopped coming here years ago because the amount of 🤓👆 erm actually people made me loathe the idea of visiting. Happy to report as of earlier this week that hasn't changed. The guy at the register was really cool. I do want to say my friend and I avoided dropping money on card games because of these weird people. We were roaming around with the intent of getting Lorcana cards (MTG players, children's book illustrators, and disney lovers). While we were looking at comics, someone loudly said how they felt it was a beginner game and the only one who wants it are disney collectors. It wasnt worth playing. So that money went elsewhere. Thank you to the cool guy at the counter for the Killjoys conversation tho!!

I think Colosseum of comics Oakleaf is one of the best comic book shops you could visit. I love going there and I am A repeat of Customer and I love going there. They have cool Funko pops comics and other cool nerdy things if you like comics then this is the place to go.😊
