Dr. Lacroix is an outstanding physician. He is knowledgeable, professional, and truly takes the time to listen. He explains things clearly, answers questions thoroughly, and makes you feel comfortable and confident in his care. His compassionate approach and attention to detail are exceptional. The entire experience, from the office staff to the quality of care provided, was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Lacroix to anyone looking for a skilled and caring doctor.
I absolutely love Dr. Lacroix! He has a wonderful bedside manner and is funny too. He made me feel heard on my symptoms and he is sending to different specialists to help narrow down the cause of my issues. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Great PCP that doesn't make you feel like a number and actually cares about his patients ❤️
I love Dr Lecroix. He is legitimately one of the best I’ve ever seen, attentive and knowledgeable, super helpful. That said, I always book the 8a appt. Asked to come in 15 minutes early. I am never seen before 845, please make this make sense.
:I recently moved to Jacksonville and was in search of a new healthcare provider. I was referred to Dr. Lacroix and, during my initial appointment, I felt optimistic. Dr. Lacroix listened attentively to my concerns, refilled my medications, and scheduled a follow-up visit to discuss my progress. He also arranged for extensive lab work—essentially the type of tests you would expect during a thorough physical examination. During the visit, I shared my medical history, including a recent severe auto accident in July that left me with a fractured L3 vertebra and four broken ribs. I also discussed my family’s history of heart disease and cancer, with both of my parents having experienced significant health challenges and several relatives succumbing to cancer. Dr. Lacroix appeared understanding and thoughtful, and I left the appointment feeling positive and reassured. However, my subsequent experiences with the office have been disappointing. When I returned for my labs, the interaction with the lab technician was unpleasant. She was condescending and rude, which made an already uncomfortable process feel unnecessarily stressful. After my lab results were posted to MyChart, I was alarmed to see that every category was flagged as “abnormal” in large letters. I have some familiarity with lab results, and while I understand that slight variations can be normal, it was troubling to see every result marked as abnormal—especially since my previous doctor in Greenville, South Carolina, had never flagged significant issues in my routine labs. Concerned, I reached out through MyChart for clarification. Unfortunately, my message went unanswered. I waited a couple of days and sent a follow-up message, but I was still met with silence. I found this lack of communication highly insensitive. A simple response, such as, “Dr. Lacroix has reviewed your results, and while there are some variations, he is not overly concerned. He will discuss them with you during your next appointment,” would have alleviated my anxiety. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported. When someone is facing health concerns, has a family history of serious conditions, and is struggling emotionally and physically, communication is critical. Unfortunately, this office fell short in that regard. Additionally, some responses from medical assistants to other inquiries felt sarcastic, further compounding the issue. While I appreciate Dr. Lacroix’s attentiveness during my initial visit, the lack of follow-up and dismissive communication from the office has left me feeling uneasy about continuing my care here. Clear and compassionate communication should be a priority, particularly when dealing with patients who are already vulnerable. Additionally, I knew I needed to follow up with an orthopedic doctor, get a mammogram, and see an ear, nose, and throat specialist. However, I was starting a new job and was struggling to find the time to manage these appointments. What I didn't know was that someone in the office had made these appointments for me without informing me. I find that highly unprofessional. As a patient, it should have been my right to make my own appointments or, at the very least, be informed of them. I had specific concerns about my mammogram and issues in that area, and I felt it was important for me to have a say in the timing and location of my care.
Dr. Lacroix and his staff is the absolute best!!! His medical assistant Arneshia is also the best!!! Dr. Lacroix is a very good listener and never rush you out of his office, he works very hard to resolve any medical issues and request any tests needed to find out the issue. I feel he really care about his patients and their health. Job well done!!! Also kudos to the check in and out staff.
