Coleman Auto Repair

Took my truck there because it was running rough, asked them to look it over and let me know that I didn't mind doing the work i just needed to know what to fix. Dropped it off Thursday morning and didnt get it back until after 3 on Friday with the only response to the issue is the MAF sensor is bad. I paid the diag fee left and went and bought a new sensor (I have a code reader and never had a code for that sensor) got home installed it and nothing changed... this was all within 30 mins of picking it up. I call them and explain that what they told me was wrong and asked if they could just really check it out and was told to bring it in Monday, I asked what it was gonna cost this time and was told "we will figure out something" so I called Monday to see about cost before I drop it off for a bill I can't pay and they say it will be the full diag fee again.. they weren't able to provide any resolution the first time or any proof or anything of what they "checked" im still having trouble with my truck and can't figure it out on my own. I figured paying "professionals" to find the issue would help me but I see that it didnt. So now im back to no truck and dumping money into it trying to fix it because they failed to do their job... I will not be using them again. Ive heard better things about laid back garage and thats where ill most likely end up taking it! At least there i have a better chance of getting answers.. the pics I have included are some of my plugs that they claim to have looked at and said they aren't that bad...

Beware this isn't the same mechanic that we know to bring excellent service. I recently had them work on my vehicle. It was doing some sputtering and the engine light came on. The code reader indicated a misfire. Coleman's said it was the fuel filter. well, we picked the car up Friday and it's now Sunday the engine light is back on. So clearly Coleman didn't fixed the issue. Time is already hard and to have shady mechanics take the easy route is quite sad. I would avoid this place due to the fact its not runned by the older man and the nicer lady. I really hate leaving bad reviews but at the same time I get up each day to provide for my family. We know have to go to another mechanic shop in hopes their not also shady.

I am very impressed with Colemans! I accidentally left the dime light on in my car Friday, didn’t drive it Saturday or Sunday, and the battery was dead Monday when I tried starting it for work. Got it charged and took it to Auto Zone, where they told me my battery was only at 56% and I needed a new alternator. Colemans checked everything out yesterday afternoon and again today…nothing was wrong with the alternator and my battery was fine. They didn’t even charge me! I highly recommend this place! They are honest and will definitely keep getting my business 😊.

First time I've had my ride fixed up without the unnerving sense of being taken advantage of. Finally found a car place. And it's independent. And it's local. So many wins. I'm so much happier today than I was yesterday. I can enjoy music again. I can enjoy life again. Haha. When I was leaving, I honestly thought my ride didn't crank up at first cause Coleman got it running so smooth.
