Coastal Health Primary Care - South Jax

I like my practioner but the practice does not return phone calls or respond in the patient portal. They tell you to connect with the portal for all needs and I have done that numerous times with ZERO response. Except when they send a bill - that comes in no time at all. I will be finding a new primary care.

My experience with Dr. Vikas Bhimani was absolutely unacceptable. After being a loyal patient at this office for years and taking the same medications without issue, I suddenly found myself waiting nearly two weeks for refills. When I submitted a written complaint — a completely reasonable thing to do — I expected someone to finally take responsibility. Instead, I received a phone call from Dr. Bhimani, a doctor who has never met me, never examined me, never spoken to me before this moment. Rather than addressing the medication delay or showing even a shred of professionalism, he used that call to fire me as a patient. No appointment. No conversation. No attempt to understand my medical history. Just a cold, dismissive, and frankly cowardly phone call. The fact that a doctor would make such a serious decision without ever seeing the patient in person is beyond unprofessional — it’s irresponsible. It shows a complete lack of respect, compassion, and basic medical ethics. I have never felt so humiliated or disrespected by a healthcare provider in my life. If this is how Dr. Bhimani treats long‑term patients — especially those who dare to speak up when something goes wrong — then people deserve to know. I would strongly warn anyone considering this doctor to think twice.

I’m very pleased with Dr Bhimani. I moved to Jax and was looking for a primary care Physician and I’m grateful that I found this physician for my needs. As a provider my self. I was so pleased for the amount of time the Doctor spent to speak to me. Thank you and I’m looking forward to continue come back for my follow up visit

Doctor Vikas Bhimani is one of the best doctors in the Bartram area. In just one visit, he ordered more testing for me than my previous doctor did in five years. He is very focused and attentive.
