Over the past six months, I’ve had the pleasure of attending services and extracurricular events at this church. The congregation is devout, and the pastor is exceptional. While the deacon board presents a mix of personalities: ranging from truly humble servants to more self-centered individuals; the heart of the ministry remains strong. The church actively serves the community by providing free meals to attendees and hosting scheduled giveaways. Their Celebrate Recovery program is beautiful, effective, and truly making a difference in people's lives. One unique aspect of this church is its commitment to financial transparency; every week, the bulletin publishes full details of the tithes received, proving their integrity in an age where trust can be hard to find ("Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men" – 2 Corinthians 8:21). Most importantly, the sermons consistently emphasize wisdom, forgiveness, love, mercy, and humility. Rather than putting people's flaws on display, the core mission is to help and heal ("Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" – 1 Peter 4:8). No one is turned away for struggle, hesitation to participate in singing, or a past sinful nature. The church chooses unity over hate, repentance over judgment, and genuinely strives to fulfill the Will of the Lord ("By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" – John 13:35).
We moved down here from TN and wanted to find a church that has a great community since we moved here not knowing anyone and no family in the area. This place was the 3rd church me and my boyfriend visited, fast forward to 2yrs, we are now members of this church, and have found a faith family and our Sundays and Wednesdays (and every moment we have with the church friends) became the highlight of our life here in Jax! Thanking the Lord for leading us to this Jesus-following church!

I love to be going to Coastal Baptist Church I love hearing the word of the Lord there and you are treated like family there everybody is just one big happy family there and I feel really good when I go to church there and I come out happy even sometimes when I go in there not feeling good but I always come up feeling wonderful thank you Lord Jesus thank you Pastor Paul
