Have some courtesy and let people know you'll be in their backyard installing a pole, don't just show up and climb over my metal fence!! Do it again when I'm home and see how i deal with trespassing, Glen St Mary, you know who you are
I have had clay electric for years in several locations where I’ve lived and they have always been good to me. Today I got home and had to make an emergency call about a power line down on the ground from a limb that fell from one of my trees. Heather answered the phone and was polite and informative and was quick to send someone out. Mr. Sunny (sorry if I’m not spelling it right), came out in what felt like three minutes and started addressing it right away. He finished his work in a quick and efficient manner. Before he went home to have dinner with his family, he showed my 3 year old son his truck and tools since my son was in awe of him working. Thank you very much for employing all the good people who work for you who are professional and caring!
Got home after I paid my power bill 4 days earlier and my power was off Google the number for Play electric turns out it was not Clay electric so I had to hold them you know what if you can't tell me why I'll just go to the office I went to the office show the number to the lady she said no darling that is a scam do not call that number our number is this one right here and no sir your bill is paid no your last bill is paid you have no back charges on your account so they are trying to scam you she asked me if I would like to see the screen I said no ma'am that's why I came here though because when they told me they couldn't tell me where a back charge came from I knew you could at the office and you'd be happy to show me on the screen cuz if it's on there I owe it so I thank them for saving me over $130
I want to start by recognizing Sandra—she was absolutely phenomenal. This does not reflect her in any way. She handled my issue with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. Unfortunately, my initial call was very disappointing. I reached out because the electric service for my property was switched without my knowledge or permission. Instead of receiving help, Gwen treated me as if I didn’t understand what was going on, when in fact the error was not on my part but between the other two parties involved. When I asked for clarification, I was told it was “private information.” However, this involved my own property—which is my private information—and after providing the last four digits of my social for verification, that explanation simply didn’t make sense. On top of that, Gwen provided no direction, no solution, just figure it out. That behavior is unprofessional for a customer service representative. Thankfully, Sandra later stepped in and worked quickly and kindly to resolve the matter. I am truly grateful for her outstanding customer service.
My electric bill due date fall a week before getting paid and at the same time as rent. When I opened my utility account, I was told that after 12 months my deposit would be credited to my account. Its been 12 months and we are in a government shutdown. Chandler, the supervisor told me that I had to have 12 months of no late fees. That was not communicated to me when I opened my account. It was just after 12 months. We are affected by the government shutdown and she personally has the position to apply the deposit and refused to do so. So while other companies are helping people out, waiving fees, raising money for food and giving understanding... Clay electric is still charging late fees and doesn't care about the people that they service. She should have honored what was communicated to me knowing she has the power to do so. When I move, I will make sure clay electric is not my utility company.
