Clay County Transmission

I've been bringing work trucks to this location for 10+ years. When my personal truck was having issues I called these guys obviously! They have always been honest! Knowledgeable, trustworthy, far pricing... There have been many times these guys fixed problems with minimal labor -and prices .... transmissions don't fix themselves and if you're experiencing some issues, don't wait, a couple hundred in preventave maintenance will save you thousands. I've seen it!! I do a lot of driving!

Got a transmission supposedly “built” to handle 500 horsepower put it in my completely stock (other than exhaust) 2006 Silverado and whoever I spoke with while my truck was there didn’t know what they were talking about and just tried to feed me lies and now a little over two years of fairly easy daily driving and all forward gears went out, bought my own replacement from monster transmissions and going to replace it I’ve found cross threaded bolts, zip ties, and completely stripped bell housing bolt holes. will not be bringing any of my vehicles back here in the future and will not recommend this place to anyone

Took my 78 Camaro with a tired TH350 tranny to Clay Transmission for rebuild. Very friendly front desk (Tammy). She provided a quote and took my car in immediately. Car drives GREAT at a VERY fair price with warranty. Couldn’t be happier. Recommend them to anyone and everyone!

This is the best transmission shops you will ever go to. They don't just work on cars they have fixed my F250 supper duty Deisel transmission and even after the warranty expired they kept the cost as low as possible. No one else can come close to the service they provide. You know what is going on and how much it will be. They are a 5 star shop.
