CIL Jacksonville

This place is amazing. Teri Duke is always so helpful and compassionate, and she makes me feel like family. She has helped many of our patients. My experience with them is always phenomenal. I thank God for her, and for CIL and the Loan Closet.

Teri Duke helped get some equipment to my grandson after a surgery that left him unable to get around on his own. Her care and quick actions make the difference for mobility and independence! I couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you very much Teri.

My dog and I have been homeless now since June 28th. I have a temporary room I’m staying in until I can find something. I’ve been lied to, I’ve been hung up on, dead end after dead end until I caught wind of CIL who supposedly help people with disabilities, after calling a million times I finally spoke to Jose who told me to come down there and speak to him. I paid $50 round trip for an Uber. Jose gave me a referral to an apartment complex, said if there were any issues to contact him immediately and he knew of a place I could get into for sure. That was a month ago, I’ve been calling this guy nonstop leaving messages, god bless the receptionist who has been patient right along with me and passes him personal messages to call me back as well. He simply will not. My time is up here at this place on Monday and to the streets my dog and I go. If you can’t or won’t help, say it! Don’t get peoples hopes up, it’s beyond cruel!

I was very impressed with the rep I spoke with. She made it seem they could really help me. Im a 64 yo paraplegic and afraid to drive in Jax traffic with my hand controls.. I have not heard back from them, and I’ve called several times but only get an automated response to leave a message. Hosea LOST my application or maybe he never received it! It’s pathetic when an agency that’s supposed to help people is so inept. I visited the office, and the receptionist was very unfriendly and my brother and I were sent on a wild goose chase trying to find the directions they gave us. The pictures are so misleading. They look so Care so much, but certainly not in my case.
