Picked up take out from China One. Chicken Lo Mein was really good!! I enjoyed the wonton soup but wish the flavors of the broth had been stronger. My husband and I both loved the steamed dumplings with the chili oil. He also loved the egg drop wonton soup. Not pictured, he ordered the sesame chicken dinner combo with a pork egg roll and plain fried rice. The sesame chicken was really good but a bit crispier than usual. Fried rice was good! The egg roll was not our favorite but it wasn't bad. We enjoyed the vibe of the small restaurant, I believe it's just for pick up orders though there are two small booths inside. Staff were very friendly! Would definitely ordered food here again.
I’m not one to leave a bad review but the rice is quite literally neon yellow, the spring rolls were okay pretty flavorless but I could eat them. The egg rolls however were just nasty tbh. And the fried noodles that came with my won tong soup were stale as hell 😭
I ordered shrimp lo mein with shrimp fried rice, small vegetable lo mein, shrimp egg foo young and sweet and sour shrimp and crab Rangoon. Paid $56 and some change. The shrimp for the sweet and sour sauce was pasty, although it looked as if it was cooked well it wasn’t. It was awful. The egg foo young was so greasy I took paper towels and squeezed out so much oil it would choke a cow! This was the worse experience I’ve ever had with this restaurant. But I did notice new owners.
Don't buy food here!!!!! The crab Rangoon's tasted like they were cooked in week-old oil, the broccoli tasted like pure pesticides, and the lo mein tasted like pure chemicals or something. I wouldn't give this food to my dog! We called to advise them that the food tasted really funky, at which point they told us to bring it back. We literally brought it all the way back and they defended it and didn't give us our money back. Horrible, horrible, horrible business. First time we ate here since the place changed hands and we will never ever eat here again. It used to be good under the old owners. Complete waste of $40
You have to have your own soy sauce and mustard. They will not cough up a packet of 3 cent soy sauce. Family Dollar is nearby, they have soy sauce, but Chinese mustard is hit and miss. You can’t expect to spend $40 on food, and a 3 cent packet of Soy Saice should be included. Chinese logic.
