It is by far the best fried rice I have had living in Ponte vedra Beach in 15 years. I’m from Chicago I tried every Chinese restaurant in Jax beach,Ponte Vedra. Not very good. Even there fried rice was not worth reordering. I had been dying for good Chinese which seem impossible until I happened to try this place. I haven’t had anything else so far other than fried rice. Will try other items shortly. More of care out
Visited a month ago and cream cheese wonton were stale! The sauce u dip them in tasted sour! So surely today giving them another try, things would be better but NO! Not only the same stale and sour crap, the order was wrong!! I have no clue what that is on the stick! Doesn't look or taste like chicken. Dry breaded chicken made to dip in the sour sauce(which I've had at other China places and it was not sour) and WHITE RICE, which, Of course I didn't notice until I got 15 miles down the Rd, home! And I call to let them know, and no manager to talk to, what sounded like a child that answered the phone said there was no one for me to talk to!! DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU TASTE IT FIRST!
I had the shrimp with mixed veggies. 5 shrimp, tasted pretty good. I also ordered the "house" fried rice. Very disappointing. Not much protein, everything was cut up so small, you couldn't tell one bite from another. Not much different than the rice that came with the shrimp. I would not waste my money on that again.
Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was very disappointing. The chicken in both the General Tso’s and the Orange Chicken was extremely overcooked. It was tough, chewy, and very dry, making it difficult to eat and not enjoyable at all. The pan-fried dumplings were also very dry and lacked flavor. The only item that was decent was the egg roll, which was fine, but everything else we ordered was not good. Even more concerning, within about 30 minutes of eating the food, both my husband and I developed stomach aches and have been feeling quite unwell since. We were really hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately this visit did not meet expectations.
My wife and I ate here today for lunch for the first time. The staff was nice but the food was not. The crab rangoon was not cooked correctly (if it was cooked at all) and the general tso chicken with plain lo main was over cooked. The chicken tasted like meatballs too. Definitely will not be returning. The food looked good but was very deceiving. Also it was a little pricey for lunch. $35. Everything tasted like it had gone in the microwave and definitely did not taste authentic. Tasted like something from Walmart deli.
