I DO NOT recommend this place. After my child was BAKER acted they told the hospital that we HAD to go to the Northside office to fill out paperwork even though we requested the Westside office. When we got there an older lady was extremely rude and pushy at the desk. We filled out countless pages of paperwork and then was called back just for a girl to spend 10 mins questioning my son to eventually say "Oh, well you definitely want our westside office." after finding out where we lived. Uh, yeah. That's what we asked for. She then took us upfront to reschedule us to that office which we had to wait almost a MONTH for an appointment for a child who very clearly needs help immediately since he was baker acted. The appointment was on a day that I was already out of town and they had no solutions other than to wait until August. Fast forward to the appointment. I went out of the way to set it all up before I left. Turns out his appointment was at 9am and not 10am like the Northside office told me. My son didnt make it. This is the WORST place I have ever delt with. They do not care about a child's mental health based off their actions. When a lady called to ask where my son was and I told her Id have to call since Im not in the state, her response was, "Well he only has one minute to get here." Nope. We will go somewhere else. Disgusting behavior.
There is absolutely NO continuity of care. We have to see a different provider every time. And said provider can never find the documentation from whoever we previously saw. So every single appointment is like having to have an evaluation all over again. If your EMR is that bad get a new one. If your employees are not documenting properly, fire them! Not to mention my son has been diagnosed for 10 years now and they would not even look at his history. Mental health and medical history is one of the most critical pieces of information to gather in developing a care plan for your patient (I’m a nurse; I know what I’m talking about) and they wouldn’t even glance at it. We talked to the fourth provider in 2 months for a telehealth appointment yesterday and she still hasn’t sent in my sons refills. I’m seriously considering driving out of town for all of his care because of the incompetence of this place.
I would like to talk about my experience with my son and in this location it was actually one of the worst experiences I have had for my son and I don't think I would recommend it to anyone else especially with the therapist. She takes things very personally, she is not at all understanding I would not recommend it to anyone, ever. They are not professional at all.
We have been coming here for over a year and my kids have not gotten better. They change therapist and one doctor needs to go back to school😞. I would have giving them -- stars but the lady's in front are very respectful and they have made me feel better during a couple of very bad visits.
A few years ago my child would come here for counseling. They changed her counselor every couple of months. We did not like that. The last counselor we had was a lady named Addriane. She was a disgusting lady who tried to have my daughter's case closed because we missed one appt with her. Now mind you we had been there for a year and a half already and I had never missed an appt. Besides her, it's a decent place if you don't mind the inconsistency of them changing counselors every 5 minutes.
