Cheers Park Avenue

We had a Saturday with no plans for once so my wife suggested we go over to Orange Park and make a day of it because we're rarely over that way. We started that day at Cheers Park Ave for lunch because we've only stopped in here once previously for drinks and (surprise) Golden Tee Golf. Anyone who knows anything about us knows we're passionate about music. So the first time we were here, the album cover paintings stood out to us. Of course I know all of them and love many of them but per usual, anywhere that features artwork for King of Pop Michael Jackson is immediately good in my book! I started with a Mocha Martini, which is basically adult chocolate milk and I am totally OK with that. For lunch, I ordered their Big 1/2 Burger w/ Fries because it's been a while since I've had a burger. The offer toppings but I'm a plain burger person, thus the photo with only cheese. It's a really solid burger with a great brioche bun. The fries were seasoned well but not super crispy so I didn't eat a lot of them. My wife ordered the BLT which should come as a shock to no one. I'm reasonably that anyone could look at the photo of the BLT and not need to read a review. She loved it. Her only mild critique was that she thought there was a bit too much tomato, but that's easy enough to dispense with so no biggie. I'm glad we ate here this time. Everyone at cheers makes you feel at home. Literally "where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came." The wings are phenomenal... I would definitely recommend their Nashville hot ... we loved it so much we asked for a big batch to keep in our fridge! Lol. Frank, the owner is such a great guy. Justine, Justin, Josh, Reef, and everyone else I'm forgetting ... Will treat you right! Its like they actually take the time to know their customers and do everything they can to make sure you have everything you could want or need! Extra blue cheese? No problem! Have a game you need to see? They'll hook it up on one of their dozens of t.v. plus did I mention Sunday Funday is all day happy hour! Plus they have bingo on Mondays (I won $235! But I've seen the pot reach over $2,000) Taco Tuesday specials. Wednesday ladies night. Thursday $0.99 wings and Karaoke and live music on the weekends! But make sure you get there early - the bar fills up fast 🏃‍♂️ !!! See you there!!!

Well I was little disappointed! I will give 1 more try! But, went to a car show there! We sat in a booth, waited for service for 13 minutes, no one came! So we went to the bar! We finally had someone help us! Then asked if we could sit at a booth, they said yes! We showed them where we would be! They saved us food! Then never came back! When it was time to leave we finally had to go back tonthe bar! To ask for our bill, and pay! The food was great though! They truly need more workers!

Decided to stop in because I was insanely bored in my hotel room. Cool place with great staff. The Hot Damn wing sauce delivers! Unfortunately, the fat boy in me decided to get an order when I wasn't really that hungry but I have a hard time saying no to wings. I'll be back next time in that I'm in town and stay for the live music.
