This job was for a Lions club. Alisha was wonderful to work with, she was able to answer all my questions. She was very detailed about the work that was going to be performed. Jonah and his crew were very polite and professional. the job was performed as if they were working on their own house. Overall I am very happy with the job and would recommend them to everyone and they were $3K less than Shark coating.

From the initial meeting with Katie to project completion, working with Checkmate Coatings was amazing! We had many estimates and found their pricing extremely reasonable. Considering the quality of their work (excellent!) we couldn't be happier! This company is highly recommended!

Checkmate refinished my 3 car garage floors this past week. I originally sealed the floors 15 years ago using Home Depot epoxy paint, but they had become terribly chipped and looked awful. I also priced Shark, but that price was ridiculously higher. The Checkmate price was pretty reasonable and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Came on time, did it in a day, and the floors look amazing. I was especially impressed with the thoroughness of the concrete grinding and general attention to detail. They were highly competent and cleaned up well afterwards. I highly recommend Checkmate.

Our new floors look amazing! Several months ago, we made the decision to finish both our 3-car garage and covered-lanai floors. After doing our research, and talking with multiple other companies, we decided on Checkmate Coatings, and here is why. We had scheduled our free estimate through their website which is where we met our sales representative, Jeanne. We were immediately impressed with her ‘no pressure’ demeaner and her total professionalism with measuring the garage and lanai areas. Being very naïve about what even to ask, she had made a few suggestions on floor borders and how to prepare the work areas. Back in the house, Jeanne talked about the company, how all installers are their employees, the process of the flooring application, colors, warranty and what to expect on the day of installation. Not once did she mention anything about ‘our company is better than so-and-so’, which was a pleasant surprise because we heard that several times with other estimates. She wrote up our estimate and explained that no money changed hands until the work was completed to our satisfaction; another red flag we noticed with others, with as much as 50% down at signing. Jeanne understood we were still in research mode and left saying simply ‘call me directly if you have any questions’. Once we were close to making our decision, we called Jeanne back for references and immediately had several folks we could visit to not only see the work but also talk about their experience; everything was positive. Other vendors wanted to just show us pictures. Once we signed the contract and had an install date, they even helped us with ideas on obtaining a storage container (we selected GoMini’s) so we could get prepared. On the day of installation, we met with Jonah and Parker, who turned out to be two of the nicest guys to work with. Everything was explained on what we should expect, doors were taped to prevent dust and the work began. They even posed to let us take pictures! We even had a visit from another Checkmate person, Kayla, who wanted to do a short interview with us on the process we took to get us here. Installation took most of the day, and once everything was completed and cleaned up, both Parker and Jonah took the time to explain when we could safely walk on the floors, park a car and when to start bring stuff back in. It wasn’t until the next day that we received our invoice which we happily paid. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience!
