I waited nearly two months for my first appointment with this provider in order to establish primary care. I have several ongoing health concerns and was eager to finally be seen after recently obtaining insurance. On the morning of my appointment, I arrived at the correct medical complex by my scheduled time but had difficulty locating the exact office suite. I called the number provided on my appointment reminder to let the office know I was actively trying to find the location. I arrived only a few minutes after 9:00 AM. Unfortunately, from the moment I entered, I was met with cold, dismissive, and condescending behavior from the front desk staff. There was no greeting, no empathy, and no acknowledgment of the situation—only blame and an unprofessional tone. I was spoken to as though I had done something wrong rather than as a patient attempting to access care. While I was eventually told the doctor might still be able to see me after waiting, the overall environment felt hostile and unwelcoming. I chose to cancel the appointment because I do not feel comfortable establishing care in a practice where basic professionalism and kindness are lacking. Women deserve to be treated with respect by healthcare offices—especially by other adult women who understand how stressful navigating appointments, directions, and health concerns can be. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office OR Dr. Charmaine Aguirre. If she was truly a compassionate provider this never would have happened.
When my previous doctor moved out of state, I was faced with the challenge of finding a new primary care provider—never an easy task, especially when you’re looking for someone who’s not only knowledgeable and kind, but also respectful of your ongoing care needs. I was referred to Dr. Charmaine Aguirre by my pharmacy, who spoke highly of her based on feedback from many of their regular customers. I’m so grateful for that recommendation! From my very first appointment, Dr. Aguirre exceeded all expectations. I’ve never had such a thoughtful and in-depth conversation with a physician about both my medical history and who I am as a person. She made me feel truly seen and heard, and I left feeling like we were building a partnership in my healthcare—not just another patient on a list. Dr. Aguirre is knowledgeable, kind, genuine, and respectful. She listens with intention and takes time to explain things clearly. Her medical assistant is just as wonderful—attentive, kind, and professional. Finding a doctor and staff who check all those boxes is rare, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Aguirre. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and competent primary care provider.

This was my third visit to see Dr Aguirre. All the review I read before selecting this Dr were accurate. She is the best Dr I have had in many years. Kind, professional, listens, and demonstrates real care for her patients. Visiting Dr Aguirre at the new facility was perfect.
After meeting Dr.Aguirre for the first time, I was very happy with how much quality time she spent with me addressing my multiple health concerns. She was not rushing me through our appointment and I was very satisfied with how quickly everything was expedited within the office. I had future appointment booked, referrals sent, and I felt that I was heard. I am very glad to have met such a caring and sweet doctor. I am looking forward to my next appointment. 🙂
